The scorecard of NEET PG is available through login and candidates need user id and password to download it. The merit list for NEET PG was released on January 31, 2019, and in it roll number, mark out of 1200, and NEET PG 2019 All India Rank was mentioned. As per the official website, 148713 candidates registered for NEET PG 2019, out of which, 143148 candidates appeared for the test and 5565 number did not appeared for the test. How to Get NEET PG 2019 Roll Number

Since the result of NEET PG 2019 has been announced as a pdf, the candidates need roll number to check their score and AIR. Now, the big question is how to get the NEET PG 2019 roll number??

The roll number for the exam is only provided in the admit card. Candidates who do not have their admit card for NEET need not worry. It is still available at login and you can download it from the link below:

What to Do If Forgot Password?

The password to be entered by the candidates for accessing NEET PG result should be the same as that generated during the application form submitting. However, if you do not remember the password, then do not worry. Just follow the steps below to get it.

NEET PG 2019 Score and All India 50% Quota Merit List

NEET PG 2019 Score – The score of NEET PG are calculate as per the marking scheme of the examination, which:

  • +4 for correct answer.
  • -1 for incorrect answer.

NEET PG 2019 Rank and Rank List – The rank of NEET PG 2019 is the overall merit position of candidates, amongst all the candidates who appeared for the exam. In NEET PG, the percentile rank of the candidates is used.

The Percentile Rank of the candidates is not percentage. It indicates how many candidates performed lower or as good as you. So, if your percentile rank is 102 and there were total 200 candidates. Then, you performed better than 98 candidates.

Formula for Percentile Rank = 100*Number of candidates who score upto or more than you / Total Number of candidates.

NEET PG All India 50% Quota Seats and Rank – The All India 50% quota rank is announced for those candidates who appeared in the exam for All India 50% quota seats in MD / MS / PG Diploma. The NBE published an over all and category wise NEET PG Merit List for All India 50% Quota Seats.

  • Only those candidates are featured in NEET PG All India 50% Quota Seats who fulfill eligibility criteria as set by Directorate General of Health Services / MoHFW.

Note: The criteria of eligibility for state level counselling can be different. Hence, a candidate may be eligible for state level counselling but might not be eligible for All India 50% Quota Seats.

NEET PG 2019 Tie Breaking Criteria

It is very much possible that two or more candidate might get same NEET PG rank 2019. Hence, to break the tie, following criteria is used:

  • Candidate with less incorrect answer is give better rank.
  • If the tie is not broken, then candidates higher marks in Part C is placed in higher merit position.
  • Next step to break tie, is to check the negative marks in Part C.
  • Even after this if the tie is not broken then marks in Part B are considered.
  • Further to break tie, negatives answers in Part B will be checked.
  • If the tie is not broken still then the candidates with higher marks in Part A will get better rank.
  • Despite it all, if the tie is not broken yet then the less number of negative reponses in Part A of the question paper will be checked.
  • Last resort for breaking the tie is the age criteria. The older candidates will get a better rank.

The state quota seats are also filled on the basis of NEET PG 2019 result. The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (PG) is the only entrance exam in India for admission. For state level admissions, NBE provides candidate marks and rank data to State Government/Counseling Authority.

Every state might have it’s criteria and polices and creates its own unique counselling registration form. Even the process of counselling differs.
