Candidates get a short window to challenge answers online for a fee. In 2026 the key came on 10 June, four days after the exam, with challenges open until 5 PM on 11 June.

How to Check the NIMCET 2027 Answer Key
- Go to nimcet.admissions.nic.in when the answer key is announced.
- Log in with your registered email ID and password.
- Open the answer key and your recorded responses.
- Compare the official answer with your marked answer for each question.
- Note any answer you think is wrong, with a source, before the challenge window closes.
Your recorded responses show the option the system saved for each question. Check them carefully, because the result is worked out from these responses, not from what you remember marking.
How to Challenge the NIMCET 2027 Answer Key
- Log in during the challenge window.
- Open the answer key challenge section and select the question.
- Enter the answer you claim is correct and upload your supporting proof.
- Pay the challenge fee online.
- Submit before the deadline. Challenges without the fee or after the window are not considered.
The 2027 fee will be stated in the answer key notice. In 2026 it was reported as Rs 500 per question and was not refundable. Where a challenge is upheld, the brochure says a prorated formula is used to adjust marks.
How to Calculate Your NIMCET 2027 Score
Add up your marks section by section with the official marking scheme. The maximum is 1,000.

Example: 35 right and 8 wrong in Mathematics gives 420 – 24 = 396 marks for that section. Unanswered questions score zero. If your Mathematics or total score is zero or negative, you will not get a rank in the NIMCET 2027 result.
