PESSAT 2018 is the entrance exam conducted by PES University, Bengaluru. PES is offering admission to B.Tech, B.Des, BBA, M.Tech, M.Sc in Applied Economics, BBA LLB, MBA, MCA, M.Sc Engineering by Research, PhD programs on basis of PES Entrance Exam. Date of exam is in May for B.Tech, and from January to July for all other courses. PES (Peoples Education Society) Scholastic Aptitude Test is a gateway for admission to around 2576 seats overall. PESSAT 2018

PESSAT 2018 application form must first be filled and submitted with fee of Rs 1,050 by last date. Then applicants can book test slot to select which date to appear for exam. Those who book test slot can download admit card. Candidates must take PESSAT 2018 admit card to exam hall on day of exam.

PES University will offer admission to B.Arch program only on basis of NATA 2018 score.

PESSAT 2018 Application Form

Application form of PESSAT 2018 is available in online mode only. Candidates must note last date to apply specific to course they are applying for. Instructions to fill PESSAT 2018 application form and fee are same for all courses.

Steps to apply

  • Go to pes.edu and click on Register Now link.
  • Part 1 – First part of application form / registration requires candidates to select course, enter name, gender, date of birth, email ID.
  • Part 2 – Enter correct details in all fields that come in next part of application form of PESSAT 2018, including personal details and academic details. Select 3 test centre preferences
  • Part 3 – Login using registration number, date of birth. Upload photograph.
  • Part 4 – Pay PESSAT 2018 application fee of Rs 1050.
  • Part 5 – Print application form for future reference.

PESSAT 2018 Application Form Correction

Candidates can request corrections/modifications in PESSAT 2018 application form by sending an email to [email protected] Mention application number, corrections / modifications. Candidates can also send an email to above email ID if their fee was deducted twice. Excess fee will be refunded.

PESSAT 2018 Slot Booking

  • Only those who apply before the last date can do slot booking as per schedule.

How to prepare for PESSAT 2018?

According to students who have appeared in PESSAT in previous years, it is not extraordinarily difficult to crack it. Preparation can be done alongside other national level entrance exams.

For example, if you are preparing for JEE Mains then its preparation will be sufficient for PES University entrance exam also. In addition, there is an English section also, so just focus on preparing that in addition.

For BBA / BBA HEM exam, you can study MCQs on English, Verbal Ability, Reasoning, Quant.

If you are appearing for B.Des Entrance Exam then you can take its preparation hand in hand with any other design entrance exam. Work on your creativity and drawing/sketching skills.

Try to build up your speed and accuracy, because, for all courses entrance exams here, you will have less than one minute per question.

PESSAT 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must note the eligibility criteria which needs to be fulfilled in order to get admission.

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech

  • Candidates must have at least 50%  aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in class 12th or equivalent.
  • Students from CBSE, ICSE, IB and IGCSE boards are eligible. Students from other boards need to take permission first.

Eligibility criteria for B.Des

  • Candidates must have 60% marks or equivalent in 10+2 from any recognized board.

Eligibility criteria for B.Arch

  • No candidate, with less than 50% marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless he/ she has passed an examination at the end of the new 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as subjects of examination at the 10+2 level. OR
  • 10+3 Diploma (any stream) with 50% aggregate marks. OR
  • IB Diploma after 10 years of schooling, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

PESSAT 2018 Result

The aspirant can appear in entrance exam once. On the basis of PESSAT 2018 Result, he/she gets admission to the course of choice. Know more about it here:

  • Admission to a program is on basis of PESSAT 2018 Rank.
  • Marks if 10+2 qualifying exam is seen only for the purpose of determining eligibility.
  • Rank is only valid for admission to PES University.
  • On basis of the result, candidates can appear in counseling.
  • In order to check result, the candidate has to visit pes.edu where the rank displays online through login.
  • If one wishes to opt for a seat allotted through CET, then he/she can surrender seat allotted.
