How to Apply for PESSAT 2027
You apply online on the PES University admissions portal. Each programme needs its own registration and fee, and you then book an entrance slot yourself. The 2027 registration is open now and is expected to close in July 2027.
Apply Online for PESSAT 2027
Applications for PESSAT 2027 open on 3 September 2026.
- Open the PES University admissions portal and choose your programme.
- Fill in your basic information. Your email ID becomes your username, and you set a password.
- Pay the registration fee of Rs 1,200 online and complete the full application.
- Log in again to book your entrance slot once slot booking opens.
- Print your hall ticket and take part in the entrance process on the booked slot.

If you left the form after the basic details, you do not need to start again. Sign in with your email ID and password and finish the payment and registration.
Who can apply for PESSAT 2027?
Eligibility depends on the programme. Most UG programmes need 50% in Class 12, and most PG programmes need 50% in a bachelor’s degree, as listed by PES University.

Meeting the minimum marks does not guarantee a seat; you still have to clear the PES admission process. Check the programme-wise eligibility page before you pay.
What is the PESSAT 2027 exam pattern?
There is no single paper. PES University lists separate subject areas and weightage for each programme group, and the process differs by programme.

For most programmes PES University describes the step as an online interview process on your booked slot. B.Tech lateral entry candidates take a computer-based test. Topic lists for every group are on the PESSAT 2027 syllabus page.
How does B.Tech admission work at PES University?
PESSAT is no longer held for B.Tech. PES University admits B.Tech students only through JEE Main and KCET scores.
- Eligibility: 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12, plus a JEE Main or KCET score.
- KCET route: take KCET and join the government counselling of the Karnataka Examinations Authority.
- PESU merit route: register for B.Tech on the admissions portal (open since 3 September 2026) and upload your JEE Main or KCET score. The PESU JEE rank list is expected in May 2027 and counselling from June 2027.
- B.Arch is discontinued at PES University from the 2026-27 academic year.
