PESSAT 2020 – PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) 2020 is an all India online entrance examination for admission in various courses offered by PES University, Bengaluru. The exam for B.Tech and B.Arch including all other courses are conducted on different dates. The aspirant must have passed / appearing in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. PESSAT 2020 Result
Result is declared after the examination is conducted. Candidates can check their Results using their registration number and date of birth. Result is followed by the Counselling process where qualified candidates are called to appear in the counselling to complete the further process of Admission. PESSAT Rank is generated on the basis of PESSAT scores secured by candidates.The scores for PSAT 2020 are considered for the courses offered at PES University. Candidates must check their Results for B.Tech/B.Arch and other courses as they are declared separately as per the Exam is conducted.
PESSAT 2020 Counselling
Counselling process starts shortly after the PESSAT 2020 Result declaration. Qualified candidates are called to appear in the Counselling process. For B.Tech counselling, only PESSAT Rank, which is generated on PESSAT Score of the candidate is considered. Selected candidates must appear in the counselling process for admission process. In case Candidates are not able to appear themselves, one of the parents or guardian can represent the candidate in behalf. Candidates need to submit an authorization letter for the same and seek permission for it.
PESSAT 2020 Fee Structure

PESSAT 2020 Application Form

PESSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
PESSAT 2020 offers different courses pertaining to different eligibility criteria:
B.TECH
- The candidate must be 10+2 passed with 60% aggregate marks in PCM/Computer Science/Electronics/Biotechnology or equivalent examination from a recognised board
- PESSAT (National Level examination) or KCET (State Level Examination)scores are also required to fulfil the eligibility
BBA/ BBA-HEM
- The candidate must be 10+2 passed or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board.
B.DES
- The candidate must be 10+2 passed with 50% aggregate marks in any stream with English as a mandatory subject from a recognized board OR 50% aggregate in three year diploma with English as a mandatory course.
- PESSAT or UCEED examination score
BBA, LLB
- The candidate must be 10+2 passed or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board.
- Minimum marks of 45% of the total marks in qualifying examination, in case of general category applicants and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants.
- CLAT or PESSAT or LSAT-India scorecard
B.ARCH
- The candidates must be 10+2 passed with 50% aggregate marks in PCM
- Must have also passed 10+3 with 50% marks in aggregate in diploma examination with Mathematics as compulsory subject
- 50% marks secured in NATA
MCA
- The candidate should have passed undergraduate degree with 50% marks in all the year along with Maths/statistics/computer science/ computer programming/ business mathematics/business statistics as one of the subjects
- PESSAT or PGCET marks
MBA
- The candidate must secure 60% marks in UG from any recognized University.
- PESSAT, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE scores are accepted
M.TECH
- The candidate must pass Engineering degree with 60% in a relevant stream from a recognized University.
- PESSAT, PGCET or GATE scores are accepted.

PESSAT 2020 Exam Pattern
Following is the Exam Pattern followed in PESSAT 2020 as per last year details:

- Medium of Question Paper : English
- Types of Questions: Multiple choice Questions
- Total Duration: B.Tech: 180 minutes, Other Courses: 120 minutes
Marking scheme
Correct answer: +1 will be awarded for each correct answer
Incorrect answer: No marks will be deducted for wrong answer. However, in B.Tech examination in Section 2 English grammar 0.25 marks will be deducted for a each wrong answer.

PESSAT 2020 Admit Card
PESSAT 2020 Admit Card is released by the conducting body, PES University Bangalore. Once candidates successfully book their slots and reserve a date and time for PESSAT 2020 they are issued with the Hall ticket with detailed instructions on it which can be downloaded by the candidates from the official website. Admit Card is an important document that must be carried by a candidate at the time of Examination in a printed form. Hall ticket is the pass to appear PESSAT. Admit Card for PESSAT 2020 is not sent via any post or mail. Candidats must keep 2-3 copies and keep it safe till the time of admission.
