How to download the TIFR GS 2027 admit card?
You download the hall ticket online from the same portal you used to apply; it is not sent by post.
- Open tifr.res.in/academics and go to Begin Application, or open the GS-2027 application login page.
- Log in with the user ID and password sent to your mobile and email after basic registration.
- Download the hall ticket once it is available, from mid-November 2026.
- Check your name, photo, subject test, session and test centre.
- Print the hall ticket and keep it safe for 13 December 2026.
What details are printed on the TIFR GS 2027 admit card?
The hall ticket carries your identity details, the subject test you applied for, and the exact venue of your test centre.
- The exact venue of your exam centre appears only on the hall ticket, not in the city list.
- If your photo is missing or unclear on the hall ticket, TIFR says you can still use it with a government photo ID such as a college ID card, Aadhaar, driving licence or PAN card.
- Hall tickets are made available only after the fee is paid or a fee waiver is approved.
Where are the TIFR GS 2027 exam centres?
The online test is held at about 60 cities across India, from Agartala and Guwahati to Thiruvananthapuram, including New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Lucknow. You choose a city in the form, and the exact venue is given on the hall ticket.
Applicants living abroad who cannot travel to India can take the test online in proctored mode at the same time, if they gave proof of overseas residence in the form.
What are the TIFR GS 2027 exam-day rules?
Follow the instructions printed on your hall ticket and the instruction sheet for your subject.
- Carry the printed hall ticket, and a government photo ID if your photo on it is missing or unclear.
- Do not take books, papers, mobile phones or other electronic devices into the test room.
- Calculators are not allowed in the Mathematics and Computer Science tests; the Physics test has an on-screen calculator.
- Rough sheets are given in the hall. Invigilators will not answer questions about the paper; any correction is announced to everyone.
