TMISAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for TMISAT 2020 must ensure that they fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admission in B.Tech. Marine Engineering degree and B.Sc Nautical Science programmes at Tolani Maritime Institute:
Age Limit – Minimum age of the candidate to apply for TMISAT 2020 should be 17 years.
- For Male Candidates – Candidate should be born on or after September 01, 1999.
- For Female Candidates – Candidate should be born on or after September 01, 1997.
Marital Status – Only unmarried candidates can apply for TMISAT 2020
- Candidate should have passed Class (10+2) or its equivalent.
- Should have passed Class 10+2 or its equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and should have obtained at least 60% marks.
- The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
TMISAT 2020 Application Form
The application form for TMISAT 2020 will only release in online mode. Candidates can apply for TMISAT 2020 through the official website tmi.tolani.edu. Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Candidates need to fill the personal details, educational qualification, address for communication etc. Candidates also need to upload certain documents with the application form. The candidates should note that your Name and DOB to be provided in the TMISAT Application Form should be same as on your School Leaving Certificate.

TMISAT 2020 Admit Card
The admit card for TIMSAT 2020 will be released in online mode. The admit card will only be issued to those candidates who have filled and successfully submitted the application form. The admit card consists of details such as programme opted, Name of the candidate, Date, time and address of the exam centre, roll number of the candidate. It is compulsory for all candidates to bring the admit card on the exam date to the exam centre.

TMISAT 2020 Result
The result for TMISAT 2020 will be available immediately after completing the aptitude test. Candidates can check how much they have scored in the aptitude test. Candidates who qualify the aptitude test will be eligible for the personal interview round. The personal interview is conducted on the same day itself after the test at the exam centre. The final selection of the candidates is based on marks obbtained in Class 10+2, rank in IMU-CET and result of aptitude test, personal interview and medical tests.
TMISAT 2020 Selection Criteria
It is compulsory for candidates to appear in IMUCET and TMISAT to get admission at TMI. TMI has its own selection process. The selection process is divided into 3 phases .

Stage 1 – TMISAT 2020 Online Test
The Online Test for TMISAT 2020 has Main Test with 80 number of questions in four (04) sections and a Behavioral Assessment. The online test consists of MCQ type questions covering topics from Physics, Mathematics, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. On completion of the Main test, there will be a behavioral assessment for 30 minutes.
Stage 2 – Personal Interview
Candidates who qualify TMISAT 2020 are then interviewed by a panel of educators and maritime professionals to assess the candidates’ on various levels such as communication skills, leadership potential, clarity of thought, maturity and reasoning abilities. The extracurricular achievements of the candidate is also taken into consideration by the panel. Candidates who qualify the personal interview round will now go through the medical examination.
Stage 3 – Medical Examination
The candidates selected in the personal interview are then examined by the Medical practitioners appointed by the Institute for certifying confirmation with the medical requirements laid down by the Institute.
