The WB JECA 2027 result will be a rank card with your score and General Merit Rank (GMR), downloaded from the WBJEEB candidate sign-in. It is expected in August 2027. In 2026 the final key came on 31 July and rank cards followed in early August 2026, ahead of e-counselling in September.

How to Check the WB JECA 2027 Result
- Open the WBJEEB JECA page on the result date.
- Click the Rank Card for JECA 2027 link.
- Sign in with your application number, password and the security pin shown.
- View your rank card and check your name, score and ranks.
- Print it with the portal’s Print option; screenshots and phone photos are not accepted as documents.
What does the WB JECA 2027 rank card show?
- Your name and roll number
- Your JECA score out of 120
- General Merit Rank (GMR)
- Category ranks (SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, EWS or PwD), where they apply
WBJEEB does not publish any rank or score list. Only you can see your rank card, and it cannot be downloaded after counselling is over.
How is the WB JECA 2027 merit list prepared?
Candidates are ranked in descending order of marks as the GMR. Seat allotment uses the GMR only; category ranks are for information. When marks are equal, WBJEEB breaks the tie in this order:
- Fewer negative marks in Category-I questions
- More marks in Category-II questions
- Older candidate by date of birth
- Earlier application number
Every candidate who sits the exam gets a rank card with a score, but WBJEEB sets a cut-off rank or score, so not everyone gets a rank that makes them eligible for counselling. A score grievance must reach [email protected] within 24 hours of the result.
What is the expected WB JECA 2027 cut off?
JECA has no fixed pass mark; admission depends on your GMR. As a reference for 2027, these are the 2025 opening and closing GMRs for Open category seats, from WBJEEB’s official ORCR report for JECA Counselling 2025 (Round 2 shows only seats filled in that round).

What happens after the WB JECA 2027 result?
WBJEEB runs centralised e-counselling for MCA seats, using the seat matrix from the Directorate of Technical Education, West Bengal. In 2026 it had three rounds, each with fresh registration, choice filling, allotment and reporting.
- Register for counselling with your JECA application number, rank and UG, Class 12 and Class 10 marks, and pay the Rs 500 registration fee.
- Fill and lock your choices; WBJEEB advises at least 20 choices.
- If you get your first choice, you must report and take admission, or you are out of counselling. Otherwise you can accept with or without upgradation.
- At the institute, show the allotment letter, rank card, Class 10 admit card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, all UG semester mark sheets, and domicile and category certificates where they apply.
- Reserved seats left vacant are not converted to general seats.
