Your marks are converted to a GATE score out of 1000 so that results can be compared across papers and sessions.
- The general qualifying mark gets a score of 350.
- The average marks of the top 0.1% of candidates (or top 10, whichever is more) get 900.
- Your score is placed on a straight line between these two points.
- For papers held in more than one session, raw marks are first normalised.
