How to calculate your IAT 2027 score?
Add 4 marks for each correct answer, subtract 1 for each wrong answer and give 0 for unanswered questions. The maximum is 240.
| Response | Marks |
|---|---|
| Correct answer | +4 |
| Wrong answer | -1 |
| Not answered | 0 |
Example: 40 correct, 8 wrong and 12 unanswered gives (40 x 4) – (8 x 1) = 152 out of 240.
Your total out of 240 decides your rank; in 2026 every candidate with at least one mark got a rank. See the IAT 2027 result page for rank cards and closing ranks.
What is the IAT response sheet?
It is the record of the options you marked in the computer-based test, uploaded to your portal account after the exam (on 9 June in 2026). Use it, not memory, to calculate your score.
For practice, the IAT question papers page includes the 2023 paper with the correct options marked.
