The IISER IAT 2027 result will be declared on iiseradmission.in, and you download your rank card from the application portal. It is expected in June 2027. In 2026 the result came on 29 June, three weeks after the 7 June exam. Your rank, category and programme preferences then decide IISER offers in counselling rounds.

How to check the IISER IAT 2027 result?
- Open iiseradmission.in and click the IAT 2027 result notice once it is posted.
- Go to the application portal and log in with your User ID (registration or application number) and password.
- Open the rank card and check your overall rank and, if it applies, your category rank.
- Download and save the rank card; in 2026 it could be downloaded only until 5:00 PM on 9 July.
- Fill in the IISER programme preference form when counselling registration opens (2 to 9 July in 2026).
What does the IAT 2027 rank card show?
The rank card shows your overall (common) rank and, for reserved categories, a category rank. Ranks are based on your total marks out of 240.
- In 2026, every candidate who scored at least one mark got an overall rank.
- OBC-NCL, GEN-EWS, SC and ST candidates also got a category rank; unreserved candidates did not.
- PwD candidates get no separate rank, since PwD reservation is 5% horizontal within each category.
- Kashmiri Migrant candidates get no category rank, since their seats (3 per IISER) are supernumerary.
- Category ranks are provisional until your documents are verified.
What is the expected IISER IAT 2027 cut off?
IISER admission is decided by closing ranks in each offer round, not by a fixed cut-off mark. The table shows IAT 2026 Round 4 closing ranks (overall ranks) as reported by Careers360 on 18 August 2026; IISER Pune’s BS-MS closed in Round 3 at UR rank 809 (Careers360, 10 August 2026).

Closing ranks can move in later rounds, and nine rounds were held in 2026, so use these figures as a guide for 2027, not as final cut-offs.
What happens after the IAT 2027 result?
- Register for counselling by filling in the IISER Academic Programme Preference Form (no fee), listing programmes in your order of preference.
- Check your portal in each round; offers depend on your rank, preferences, category and the seats available.
- To accept an offer, pay the Seat Acceptance Fee before the deadline: Rs 35,000, or Rs 17,500 for SC/ST.
- Choose Freeze to keep the seat, or Float to try for a higher preference in later rounds.
- To withdraw, use only the Withdraw Offer button on the portal. After the round-wise deadline and up to the final withdrawal date, Rs 10,000 (Rs 5,000 for SC/ST) is deducted from the refund.
- Report to your allotted IISER with original documents to confirm admission.
