JEE Main Admit Card 2026

What is the hall ticket and why is it important?

The admit card for JEE Main is the official hall ticket for the Joint Entrance Examination Main conducted by NTA. Every candidate who registered successfully for Session 1 (31 Oct – 27 Nov 2025) and / or Session 2 (1 Feb – 25 Feb 2026) received the hall ticket on the NTA candidate portal. It served two functions: (1) it informed candidates about their exam centre, date, and shift timing for the CBT; and (2) candidates carried the printed hall ticket along with a valid original photo ID proof to gain entry to the examination hall. NTA also released the city intimation slip before the admit card – first week of January 2026 for Session 1 and second week of March 2026 for Session 2.
