JEE Main 2018 Admit Card will be issued in the 02nd week of March 2018 by CBSE. Only those candidates will be able to download their admit card who will successfully submit the application form before January 01, 2018. The admit card for the Joint Entrance Examination will be available in the online mode on the official website of JEE main. The admit card will not be sent to the candidates via post. The JEE Main 2018 exam will be conducted in two different modes. The offline examination will be held on April 08, 2018, and the online paper will be conducted on April 15 and 16, 2018. The JEE Main exam has two papers i.e. Paper I & II. Paper, I is conducted for B. E./B. Tech courses. and Paper II is conducted for B. Arch./B. Planning courses.

CBSE will not verify any details mentioned by the students in the application form as all the information and documents will be verified by the institutes. How to download the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card?

The candidates can follow the steps below for downloading the admit card of JEE Main 2018.

Step-1: As soon as CBSE will release the admit card, the link to download it will be provided on this page. Candidates need to click on that link and a window as shown below will appear.

Step-2: The candidates will then have to enter Application Number and Date of Birth. Application number should be same as that generated at the time registration. (If you have forgotten it, check how to retrieve application number.

Step-4: Click on the “Login” button.

Step-5: Check and download the displayed JEE Main 2018 Hall Ticket.

Retrieving Application Number For JEE Main 2018

If a candidate forgets their application number then the procedure to retrieve the application number is very easy. Candidates need to follow the steps listed below.

  • You will have to visit the candidate login for JEE Main 2018 on the official website – jeemain.nic.in .
  • Now click on the “Forgot Application Number” option mentioned below the login.
  • The candidate will be re-directed to a new screen
  • You will now have to enter your name along with Father’s/ Mother’s name, Date of Birth, State eligibility and the auto-generated security pin.
  • Cross check the details mentioned by you and click on the submit button.
  • Your application number will be displayed on the screen. Please note it down somewhere safe for future use.

Guidelines regarding Admit Card of JEE Main 2018

Here are a few guidelines that the students appearing for the joint entrance exam should keep in mind on the day of the exam. Please refer to the pointers below.

  • It is necessary to carry the admit card on the day of exam because you will not be allowed to appear in the entrance exam.
  • Candidates should report to the exam center at least 2 hours 30 minutes before the exam to finish the registration formalities.
  • Students will not be allowed to carry textual material, Calculators, Document or any electronic devices in the exam hall.
  • Candidates need to produce the admit card whenever demanded by the invigilator on the day of the exam.
  • The test will start exactly at the time mentioned in the Admit Card and candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall once the exam has started.

Instructions for Joint Entrance Examination (Mains) 2018

Exam day instructions applicable to all candidates:

  • Reach venue at least 2.5 hours before exam time. This will ensure ample time remains for frisking and registration formalities.
  • Authorities give one entry to exam hall upon showing admit card. Those who do not have admit card cannot appear for exam.
  • Those who claim relaxation under PwD must carry copy of PwD certificate in prescribed format given in JEE Main 2018 information brochure.
  • No one gets entry to exam hall once exam starts.
  • It is necessary to check in the beginning only that the question paper has been provided in that language which was asked for in the JEE Main 2018 Application Form. In the event that it is not so, one can contact invigilator.
  • Baggages are not allowed inside exam centre.
  • Things that should not be taken to exam hall include any textual material, Calculators, Docu Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, pager or any other device.
  • Those who are suffering from diabetes can carry eatables like sugar tablets, fruits like banana, apple, orange and transparent water bottle. However they cannot carry packed food items like chocolate, candy, sandwich.
