JEE Main Cutoff 2018

Candidates should note there is no cutoff for JEE Main exam but there are two important cutoffs of which a candidate should be aware. In JEE, every candidate is allocated the rank but not ever candidates are called for counselling. Hence, the one type of JEE Main cutoff is that on the basis of which candidates are granted admission in participating colleges. It is called as opening and closing rank. Another cutoff is JEE Main minimum qualifying for JEE Advanced exam. Both the cutoff of JEE Main have been explained below in detail. JEE Main 2018 Cutoff for the Advanced Examination

Firstly, let us have a look at the JEE Main cutoff that is mentioned on the result. A lot of candidates think that the cutoff mentioned in the scorecard is the cutoff for the exam. However, that is not true. It is actually the minimum qualifying marks in JEE Main which is to be scored in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced paper.
