This year, about 231024 number of candidates qualified for JEE Advanced 2018. Of these many, 111275 qualified from General Category, 65313 from OBC-NCL, 34425 from SC, 17256 from ST, and 2755 from PWD category. JEE Main Cut Off

Candidates should note there is no cutoff for JEE Main exam but there are two important cutoffs, which the candidates must note. In JEE, every candidate is allocated the rank but not every candidate is called for counselling. Hence, the one type of JEE Main cutoff is that on the basis of which candidates are granted admission in participating colleges. It is called as opening and closing rank. JEE Main 2018 Cutoff for the Advanced Examination

Firstly, let us have a look at the JEE Main cutoff that is mentioned on the result. A lot of candidates think that the cutoff mentioned in the scorecard is the cutoff for the exam. However, that is not true. It is actually the minimum qualifying marks in JEE Main which is to be scored in order to be eligible for JEE Advanced paper.
