JEE Main Result 2017 – Class 12th Marks Confusion and Percentile vs Percentage
As said above, the rank will only be propounded on the basis of JEE Mains 2017 Score. However, class 12th marks are important to ensure the eligibility. The candidates will only be eligible for JEE Main, if:
- They score more than 75% marks in class 12th (65% for SC/ST candidate)
- Or should be among top 20 percentilers.
Note: The percentage and percentile will be considered for best 5 and not for PCM or PCB or PCMB. The top 5 will include Mathematics, Physics, Language, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject.
