The JEE Main Drawing Test is a vital part of Paper 2A for B.Arch, specifically designed to assess candidates’ drawing skills. This section evaluates how well candidates can visualize and create architectural sketches, which are crucial in the field of architecture. Applicants need to showcase their creativity, technical abilities, and understanding of spatial relationships through their drawings.
This examination is conducted in a Pen and Paper Based format (offline), requiring candidates to complete their drawings on an A4 sized drawing sheet. This traditional approach allows students to display their artistic talents without relying on digital tools, highlighting essential drawing techniques necessary for a career in architecture. The drawing test includes two main questions, with a total of 100 marks, making it a significant portion of the overall evaluation.
Candidates have a total of 3 hours to complete the B.Arch paper, providing ample time to think critically about their drawings and enhance their work. It’s important to note that there is no negative marking, which encourages students to attempt both questions freely, without fearing penalties for incorrect answers. This environment allows candidates to fully express their artistic abilities and architectural ideas.
Proper practice and preparation for the JEE Main Drawing Test are essential for aspiring architects who want to succeed in their examination.

What is level of maths in jee paper 2??
Hi,
The syllabus of JEE Main is mostly CBSE class 11 and 12 based. Hence, the level of Mathematics is also the same as that of class 11 and 12 of CBSE. The best way to understand the level of the exam is by solving previous year question paper. It will give you a very clear picture about the exam and the type of questions asked in it. Hope this helps :)
Is it necessary that we have to prepare according to cbse level?
As the syllabus for the Karnataka board and cbse is being same.
i think it is as like as mains paper 1
Hi,
There are no drawing questions in JEE Main Paper 1 for B.E / B.Tech. The drawing questions are asked in JEE Main Paper for B.Arch and B.Plan.
When we appear for Paper two are the candidates given Drawing tests only or do they have to attend math questions like paper 1? Or should we also appear for paper 1?
