What does ‘G 55’ means in KCET 2020 Result?
After KCET exam result is declared, the following candidates shall not be assigned ranks due to the following reasons:
- A candidate might have missed a rank due to want of Q.E marks.
- Code version marked incorrect.
- Due to revaluation or otherwise, the qualifying exam marks may change and a fresh ranking will become necessary.
As per the technology used by KEA, the program can assign ranks in between two integers without altering the previous rank numbers. For example, rank 1234 and 1235 ranks have been assigned already to the candidates. In normal case, your rank would have been after the candidate with rank 1234 and before the candidate with rank 1235. Now, if a new rank is required to be assigned, between two integer ranks, the program, assigns a division number as ‘G 55’ before the previous rank. In another case, if one more rank is to be assigned between the rank 1234 and 1234 G 55, the computer assigns a rank as 1234 G 44.
