KCET Question Paper Pattern
Below are the feature of KCET question paper. The points given below can be checked to understand the question paper pattern of KCET.
Mode of the exam: KCET is an offline exam in which candidates have to mark answers in OMR sheet.
Papers in the exam: Candidates can appear for PCM or PCB papers, depending on the selected subject choice.
Types of questions: All the questions in KCET are of multiple choice type.
Marking scheme: Each question is of 1 marks and the exam has no negative marking.
Total marks in the exam: The maximum marks in the exam is 180 marks.
Language: The questions are asked in both English and Kannada language

Kannada Language Test
Candidates claiming eligibility for admission to Government seats under Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses with any of the languages among Kannada, Tulu or Kodava as their mother tongue have to take the Kannada Language test. The test is conducted in Bangalore centres. Candidates have to furnish original documents of parents to support their claim such as marks cards, study certificates etc. In addition, the KCET admit card will also be required to appear in the Kannada language test.

Total marks: The test carries a total of 50 marks.
