KCET Answer Key 2027: Provisional Key, Objections, Final Key

The KCET 2027 answer key is the list of correct answers KEA publishes for each subject and question paper version of UGCET 2027. The provisional key is expected a few days after the exam, in late April 2027, followed by an objection window and a revised key. In 2026 the provisional key came on 26 April 2026.

How to Download the KCET 2027 Answer Key

1. Go to cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea and open the UGCET 2027 section.
2. Click the provisional answer key link.
3. Open the PDF for your subject: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology.
4. Find the key for your question paper version code, printed on your question booklet.
5. Match the answers with the ones you marked and work out your marks.

How do I raise an objection to the KCET answer key?

KEA opens an online objection link after the provisional key. In 2026 the window ran from 27 to 30 April 2026.

1. Open the objection link on the KEA website and log in.
2. Choose the subject, version and question number you are challenging.
3. State the answer you think is correct and upload proof, such as a page from a standard textbook.
4. Submit before the deadline. Objections without supporting proof are not considered.

In 2026 KEA did not charge a fee for objections. Subject experts review every objection, and KEA then publishes a revised key, which is used for the result.

How do I calculate my KCET score from the answer key?

• Each correct answer gets 1 mark.
• There is no negative marking, so wrong and blank answers both get 0.
• Each subject is out of 60, so the engineering total (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) is out of 180.
• If KEA gives a grace mark for a wrong or unclear question in the revised key, add it to your total.

Your engineering rank also counts your 2nd PUC marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at 50% weight, so marks alone do not fix your rank. The rank comes with the KCET 2027 result.

Why are there many KCET answer key versions?

KEA prints each paper in several versions, with the same questions in a different order. Past keys came in 16 versions (A1 to D4) for each subject, so always use the key that matches the version code on your booklet.
