KCET 2022 Application Form
The application form of KCET 2022 is released by KEA.
KCET 2022 registration – In order to apply for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test, candidates must first do registration at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in before the last date.
How to apply?
In order to apply for KCET 2022, candidates must do the following:
- Go to the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
- Then do registration for the KCET exam.
- After that fill all personal, educational, contact details in the KCET 2022 application form.
- Also, upload documents such as photograph, signature in the KCET online application form.
- Finally, pay the application fee as prescribed by the Karnataka Examination Authority.

SC/ST/Female candidates of karnataka: Rs.250/-
KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Students must check the eligibility criteria of KCET exam before applying. The important points for eligibility criteria are the following.
Domicile – No candidate shall be eligible for admission to Government Seats unless he is a citizen of India.
Educational qualification – Candidates can appear in this exam after Class 12.


Minimum marks – They should have at least following marks : not announced.
Age limit – The age limit for KCET exam is not announced.

Who are not eligible – The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination other than the universities listed in the notification at VTU Website are NOT eligible and candidates who have passed from Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) are also NOT eligible.

Marking Scheme
- Candidates get 1 for correct answer.
- The negative marking is none for incorrect answer.
Other aspects of the exam are as follows.
Mode: KEA will hold the Karnataka Common Entrance Test as Offline.
Duration: The exam will be of For each paper / subject – 80 minutes, and for Kannada Language Test – 1 hour.
Type of questions: The questions in the question paper will be as follows – Objective type. Each question is followed by 4 alternative answers. The candidate will have to choose the correct answer and dark/shade against the appropriate choice in the OMR response sheet with blue/black pen adhering to the instructions provided.
Language of question paper: The KCET question paper 2022 will be in these languages – not specified.
Kannada Language Test
The candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses and whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu or Kodava, will have to undergo a Kannada language test, to establish their ability to speak, read and write Kannada.
- The Kannada Language test will be conducted by KEA as per the above schedule at Bidar, Belagavi, Ballary, Bijapura, Mangalore, Bengaluru Centres; therefore such candidates will have to appear for the ‘Common Entrance Test – 2022’ in a test centre located at Bengaluru, Bidar, Belagavi, Ballary, Bijapura, Mangalore Centres Only.
- The relevant photocopy of the original documents of the parents in support of their claim such as marks cards, study certificates, etc., along with the CET admission ticket should be produced on the day of Kannada Language Test.
- However, the Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates (including clause ‘n’) who have studied TEN full academic years in Kannada Medium from 1st standard to 10th standard in places outside the state of Karnataka need not appear for Kannada Language Test conducted by KEA.
