KCET Syllabus 2022 – The KEA has released the KCET 2022 syllabus. Students who are going to appear in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test can download the KCET syllabus 2022 pdf here. Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) is the state level common entrance exam, conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for admission to Engineering, Technology, Yoga & Naturopathy, Farm Science courses and B.Pharm & Pharm-D. The syllabus is in accordance to the level of exam. Class 12 students can prepare KCET syllabus along with their 2nd PUC exams.

What is the syllabus for KCET 2022 exam?
The question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be based on the PCMB of First year PUC of 2020 (70%) and Second year PUC of 2021 (30%) prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority has not released PDF file for KCET 2022 syllabus.
However, they have said that the syllabus is same as syllabus of PUC. Therefore, we have given here the PUC syllabus PDF for you to download and refer for the KCET exam.

Disclaimer – During COVID-19, Karnataka had changed the PUC syllabus. Whether the reduced syllabus is being used this year also is not clear. Students are advised to contact their board or school to get exact information on the PUC syllabus, and according to it prepare for KCET 2022 also.
KCET 2022 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of KCET 2022 is as follows.
Distribution of questions as per the following:

Marking Scheme
- Candidates get 1 for correct answer.
- The negative marking is none for incorrect answer.
Other aspects of the exam are as follows.
Mode: KEA will hold the Karnataka Common Entrance Test as Offline.
Duration: The exam will be of For each paper / subject – 80 minutes, and for Kannada Language Test – 1 hour.
Type of questions: The questions in the question paper will be as follows – Objective type. Each question is followed by 4 alternative answers. The candidate will have to choose the correct answer and dark/shade against the appropriate choice in the OMR response sheet with blue/black pen adhering to the instructions provided.
