KCET Admit Card 2020 Date
KEA has announced the new exam dates of KCET 2020 which are July 30 and 31, 2020. As per the initial release date of KCET 2020 admit card, KEA scheduled to issue the same 13 days before the exam date. Hence if the same is to be followed now, then the admit card is expected to be out around the 3rd week of July 2020.
However, keeping in mind the previous year’s trends of the availability of admit card, it is issued 13-20 days prior to the exam date. Let’s check the table given below for the same.

What to Carry to KCET 2020 Exam Centre?
It is mandatory to carry certain things on the day of examination.
- A printed copy of KCET hall ticket 2020
- Black or blue ball point pen
- A valid id proof (Aadhar card / Passport / PAN card / College Identity card / 2nd PU / 12th examination admission ticket / Driving License)
Reasons specified for using black / blue ballpoint pen: The reason for using the ballpoint pen is that there is a set of two sheets involved while writing the paper. Hence, while using the pen with a nib the pressure on the top sheet will not be sufficient to activate the chemical on the bottom sheet. Whereas, the ballpoint pen exerts sufficient pressure to darken the circle on the bottom sheet as well.

KCET 2020 Exam Day Instructions
Check the important instructions given below that all the candidates have to follow on the day of examination.
First 10 minutes inside the exam center:
In all the 4 KCET 2020 sessions, candidates get the first 10 minutes to fill the particulars in the OMR sheet. These are the most crucial particulars that candidates have to fill in the OMR sheet. So, fill them cautiously in the OMR sheet.

Note: If the above-mentioned details are not specified properly, then, the answer sheet shall not be scanned and thus, candidates will not be awarded any rank even if they appeared for the exam.
Next 70 minutes:
The next 70 minutes is to mark the answers of the questions asked in the exam. 60 rows are corresponding to 60 questions. Each row shall have 4 corresponding circle of which one must be shaded for the correct answer. Other important instructions while marking the answers in the OMR sheet are:
- Do not make any stray marks on the OMR sheet.
- A request for erasing or neglecting the ink marks will not be entertained.

Note: The answer sheet shall have the carbon copy beneath it. Candidates can carry it after the exam.
Note: The candidates are required to affix left-hand thumb impression in the space provided on the bottom portion of the OMR answer sheet.
Other Instructions to Follow on the Day of Examination
- The candidates have to wait to wait until the third bell rings and after that they have to open the seal of the answer booklet.
- The candidates are not allowed to wear / carry any type of wrist watches inside the examination hall.
- Use of calculators and log tables are not allowed in the examination hall.
- The candidates who use fluid or try to change the answers by scratching will be disqualified from the examination hall.
- The candidates must not carry more than 3 ballpoint pens inside the examination hall. Also, the candidates are not allowed to carry the pencil inside the examination hall.
- Also, during the start of the examination, ensure that the OMR answer sheet and the question paper issued are of the same version code.
Assignment of KCET 2020 Exam Center
KEA assigns the exam center for KCET 2020 via the admit card only. Also, candidates cannot request a change in the exam center once KEA assigns it to them.

- KEA assigns exam centers randomly, out of the 54 exam centers in Karnataka.
- The exam center is assigned on a random basis based by computer
- The assignment of the center is based on the candidate’s place of 10+2. Say for example, if a candidate has completed their 10+2 in Mysore district then they might be assigned an exam center in Mysore only.
The Kannada language test: The candidates who apply for this test shall only get exam center situated in Bangalore.
KCET 2020 Examination Pattern

KCET 2020 Answer Key
KEA releases answer key for KCET at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. It is released in the PDF format and candidates can use it to calculate the scores before the actual declaration of result. Also, KEA gives the candidates an opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key, if they have any issue regarding the answers.
