What is CET Karnataka 2018?
Karnataka Examinations Authority is conducting Common Entrance Test 2018 as per directions of Government. It is for admission to first year or first semester Engineering, Technology, Farm science courses [Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (BVSc and AH), BSc Agriculture, BSc Sericulture, BSC Horticulture, BSc Forestry, BSc Agri Bio Tech, BHSc Home Science, BTech Agri Engg, BTech Food Technology, BTech Dairy Tech, BFSc Fisheries, BTech Food Science and Tech, BSc Agri Marketing and Co Op, BPharm, Pharm-D, AYUSH].
Candidates may note that admission to Medical and Dental courses is on basis of CBSE NEET UG 2018. Admission to Architecture courses is on basis of JEE Paper 2 and NATA.

You will pay application fee specific to your category and location. Last year fee amount was as follows.

How to pay the application fee?
Mode of fee payment varies from year to year. Thus it is advisable not to take any action based on fee payment mode of last year as it may change this year. Last year, candidates had to print challan from CET Karnataka 2018 Online Application Form. Then they had to pay fee amount at bank / e post office. Those residing outside India had to pay through DD. However, there is always a chance that fee amount and mode may change this year.

How can I apply for CET Karnataka 2018?
You can apply for CET Karnataka 2018 by accessing online application form link at KEA website, as soon as it is available. - Enter mobile number and email ID of your own. This is because KEA may send communication through SMS and email.
- KEA has been issuing online application form since 2015. Thus same is likely to happen this time also. It is unlikely that there be any offline (pen and paper) form.
- Usually KEA provides a blank application also. You can first download it and fill it in consultation with an elder. Once you are sure that you can fill all details in CET Karnataka 2018 Application Form correctly, then go to live form.
- After filling details in form, you will most likely get application ID and password. This usually displays on screen after form submission and also goes to registered email ID. Keep them safely for login.
- You will also have to upload photograph and signature in JPG / JPEG format.

KCET Application Form 2018 Correction
Last year form filling was in 2 phases – (i) Fill details and edit data any number of times (ii) Agree to declaration and pay fee. Provision to edit details remain active only until phase 1. If such a facility is available this time also then candidates must make sure they edit and proofread data before final submission.
Role of Principal / Gazetted Officer in filling of KCET Application Form 2018
Last year candidates had to do final submission of form then download it. After that they had to affix photograph, signature, thumb impression. Then they had to get it attested from either Principal where studying / passed 2nd PU or class XII exam, or gazetted officer. They had to submit this copy at time of document verification.
