KCET Correction 2020
The correction window for KCET 2020 is open at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Only the registered candidates can access the KCET 2020 edit window and change details in the application form. Before changing the details, the candidates must verify the details, esp the category reservation.
The steps for KCET 2020 application form correction are as follows:

KCET 2020 Examination Pattern

Mode of exam: It is conducted in pen-paper mode.
Duration of the exam: The entrance test is of 80 minutes.
Type of questions: In KCET question paper, there are objective type multiple choice questions which are asked in the test.

About Kannda Language Test
It is conducted for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Horanadu & Gadinadu Kannadiga and whose mother tongue is Kannada, Tulu or Kodava. It is conducted to test the their ability to speak, read and write Kannada. The exam for Kannada language test is conducted in Bangalore centre only and it contains 50 MCQs of 50 marks.
KCET 2020 Preparation Tips
It is best advised to the candidates to not to wait till March or April to start their preparation, instead start doing it as early as possible. KCET exam is all about speed. It is necessary to have a good deal of practice to develop the speed required to crack a decent amount of questions in time. You can check the few tips to know on how to crack KCET 2020 below.
- Take any standard book meant for CET as it consists of 100 of questions from each unit.

KCET 2020 Test Centers
KCET 2020 is going to be conducted in 54 test cities. Candidates are allotted the test center based on the preference submitted by them at the time of filling in details in KCET application form.
KCET 2020 Admit Card
KEA issues the admit card for KCET 2020 to the registered candidates only. No hard copy of KCET hall ticket 2020 is sent to the candidates via post or by email. To download it, candidates need application number and password. It is mandatory to carry the hard copy of the admit card to the allotted test center. It consist of personall details of the candidate as well as exam details like reporting timings, address of the test center, etc. Candidates must preserve their admit card as it shall be required after the declaration of the result.

KCET 2020 Answer Key
Soon after the exam is over, various coaching institutes releases KCET 2020 answer key with detailed solution. However, the official answer key is released a day or two after the exam is over at the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. KCET official answer key is released in the pdf format. Candidates can use it to cross-check their answers and calculate their probable score. The calculation of marks is done based on the marking scheme of the exam.
How to use KCET answer key to calculate score?
- Cross-check the response marked in the OMR sheet with that provided in the answer key.
- Add 01 marks for a correct answer.
- There is no need to deduct marks for an incorrect answer as there is no negative marking.
- The total marks obtained by the candidated by adding marks for a correct answer is the probable score to be obtained by the student.
KCET 2020 Result
KEA publishes the correct answer key and result as per the schedule at its website. To check Karnataka KCET result 2020, candidates require application number. KCET 2020 Counselling
After KCET result is declared, the qualifiers in the test are eligible to participate in KCET 2020 counselling. Firstly, the eligible candidates need to appear for document verification as per the schedule only after which they are issued a verification slip and they can enter the options for preference of course / college, etc. Based on the candidates merit, choice(s) submitted and availability of seats are then allotted a seat. Such candidates have to then appear at the allotted institute for completion of other admission formalities.

KCET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the exam, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria of KCET exam. It is as given below:
Nationality – The applying candidate should be a citizen of India. However, OCI / PIO / NRI / FNC candidates are also eligible to apply.
Age limit – There is no age limit for the candidates to apply for KCET, except for B.Pharma, Pharma-d and Naturopathy & Yoga courses. For admission in these courses, candidates must have completed the age of 17 as on December 31, 2020.
- Candidates must have passed 2nd PUC / 12th std / equivalent exam.
- Those who are appearing in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard in 2020 whose result is awaited can also apply and appear for KCET 2020.
- Students who have passed Karnataka 2nd PUC / 12th standard before 2020 and those who are appearing in the year 2020 for Class 12th exam such as CBSE, CISCE, 10+2, from other boards, including J & K need to enter the marks details through online or must send a photocopy of their marks card by mentioning their CET Number to KEA.
- Likewise, repeater students of Karnataka 2nd PU also must submit their photocopy of the marks card on or before May 10, 2020.
- In the minimum qualifying marks, there is a 5% relaxation for ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates and a person with disability of mental retardation or mental illness (including Dyslexia)).

Who Are Not Eligible to Apply for KCET 2020?
Candidates who fall under any of the below given criteria are not eligible to apply for the state level exam.
- Aspirants other than citizen of India are not eligible for admission in govt. seats.
- Those who have passed the qualifying exam other than the universities listed in the notification at VTU Website.
- Candidates who have passed from Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) are also not eligible to apply for KCET.

How to Fill KCET 2020 Application Form?
Candidates can easily apply for KCET 2020 by following the steps below:
Step 1 – Select option for:
- Student Citizenship – Indian / OCI / PIO / NRI / FNC.
- Are you appearing for Karnataka 2nd PUC Annual Examination 2020 (Science)? – Yes or No
- If yes, enter the 13 digits “Student No” assigned by PUE Department.
Step 2 – Next, the candidates need to register for KCET 2020 by entering following details:

The Government of Karnataka established Karnataka Examination Authority in 2006. First, GOK has founded the common Entrance Test Cell in 1994 to conduct the entrance test for admissions into various UG and PG courses in Karnataka.
