KCET 2019 Counselling Process

The complete process for KCET 2019 Counselling is explained below:

Step 1 – KCET 2019 Registration and Verification of Documents 

  • Candidates who are assigned a rank in the KCET 2019 have to report to the nearest Helpline Centres / or the most convenient Helpline Centres as per the schedule for Registration of Candidate and Verification of Documents.
  • The KCET 2019 Document Verification is done at once for all the disciplines to which the candidate is eligible.
  • Eligible candidates after verification of documents are given a high-security secret key which is to be used to register and create a password as per his/her choice for login at the online option entry portal.

Step 2 – KCET 2019 Option Entry and Mock Allotment

  • Candidate who becomes eligible after verification will only be considered for KCET 2019 option entry.
  • In the option entry process, candidates may enter the course/college of his/ her choice from among the seats available which are displayed at the time of the entry of options i.e., college wise, category wise and course wise, discipline wise.
  • There is no limit for entry of options, which means, a candidate can enter any number of options as he/she wishes to.
  • After the entry of options process, is completed, based on the options entered by the candidates in the order of merit, KEA releases a mock allotment result, and gets an indicative allotment of college /course/stream as per his / her priority of options.

Step 3: KCET 2019 Seat Allotment 

  • A seat matrix is issued by the Government for each discipline which is used for allotment of seats.
  • There are three (03) rounds of Seat Allotment.
  • ased on the merit and priority of option, the candidates are allotted a seat in each round.

Step 4: Pay Admission Fee

  • Candidates who are allotted a seat in any of the three rounds of seat allotment has to pay the admission fee of the respective college in which they admitted to.
  • The candidates can pay the prescribed admission fee by downloading the challan.

Step 5: Report to the Allotted College

  • After completing the above-given steps, the candidates need to the allotted college to complete the further admission process.
