DTE Maharashtra Architecture Admission 2018 – DTE Maharashtra has released the notification for admission to the First Year of Architecture (B. Arch.) in Government, Government Aided and Unaided Institutes for the academic year 2018-19. The candidates aspiring to take admission are required to appear for NATA 2018 conducted by Council of Architecture, New Delhi. DTE Maharashtra Architecture Admission 2018

The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority for admission to First Year Degree Architecture 2018-2019. The Competent Authority, the Commissioner of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, shall be the authority for Centralised Admission Process and shall direct the students as per their allotment through CAP to all institutions i.e. Government, Government Aided, Unaided Institutions.

Assignment of Merit Number

The merit list for the Candidates of Maharashtra State, All India, Minority and Jammu and Kashmir Migrant is prepared on the basis of marks or score secured by the Candidate in the NATA conducted by the Council of Architecture applicable for the year 2018-19, by giving 50% weightage to CET Score and 50% weightage to HSC aggregate Marks for the purpose of admission to these Courses:

Provided that, in case of a tie, the relative merit of different Candidatures shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below:

  • higher marks in the CET
  • higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at SSC
  • higher percentage of aggregate marks in SSC

The merit list for the Candidates of NRI, Foreign Student or OCI or PIO and Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries, shall be prepared on the basis of the higher percentage of marks at HSC or its equivalent:

Provided that, in case of tie, the relative merit of different Candidatures shall be resolved in the following order of preference and the methodology as specified below:

  • higher percentage of marks in Mathematics at SSC
  • higher percentage of aggregate marks in SSC

Application Form

First Year Architecture aspirants can now fill the application form online. The links have been provided below. Also, the application fees for each category is different. One can check the same and is required to pay the application fees as given below only by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking etc. through Online mode.

Application process over..!!

Candidates must note that the fees paid is non-refundable and no other mode of payment shall be permitted.

  • For General Category Candidates from Maharashtra State, Outside Maharashtra State
    (OMS), J & K Migrant candidates & children of Indian workers in Gulf countries is ₹ 800/-
  • For Reserved Category Candidates of Backward Class Categories [SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT(A),
    NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC] & Persons with Disability Candidates belonging to
    Maharashtra State is ₹ 600/-
  • For NRI/OCI/PIO/FN Candidates, the application fees are ₹ 5,000/-

The list of the Facilitation Centers has been published on the website. The Facilitation center can facilitate the candidate to fill the Online Application Form, scan and upload the required documents without any charges.

Eligibility Criteria

Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, All India Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidate.

  • The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  • Passed HSC or its equivalent with Mathematics and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) or as declared by appropriate authority, from time to time; OR
  • Passed (10+3) Full time Diploma examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra state only) with Mathematics as compulsory subject or as declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
  • The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA or obtained Non Zero Positive Score in JEE Main Paper II;
  • Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act

NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National–

  • The Candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate or as declared by appropriate authority, from time to time; OR
  • Candidate should have passed Full Time Diploma (10+3) examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as compulsory subject or as declared by appropriate authority, from time to time;
  • The Candidate should have obtained qualifying marks in NATA as declared by appropriate authority from time to time or obtained Non Zero Positive Score in JEE Main Paper II.
  • Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.
