NTA has issued NEET 2019 admit card to more than 15 lakh registered candidates. At the exam hall, authorities check the admit card to confirm the identity of the candidate. Forgot NEET 2019 Application Number? Follow These Steps

Often candidates forget NEET Application Number and then worry about how to download NEET admit card. However, no need to worry. You can easily get the application number from the NEET login, by following the steps below:

Step-1 First of all, go to the official website of NEET, ntaneet.nic.in and look for “Forgot Registration Number”. It is the second link on the left-hand side.

Step-2 After clicking on that link, a new login opens. To access it, candidates need to enter:

  • Name.
  • Mother’s Name.
  • Father’s Name.
  • Date of Birth.
  • Security Code.

– All the details are to be entered as submitted in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Exam 2019 application form.

Step-3 After entering all the details, click on the “Submit” button that is the end of the login.

Step-4 The application number is be displayed on the screen.

Some candidates also forget NEET password. In such a case, candidates can follow the steps below to download retrieve it.

Step 1 – Unlike the application number, there is no sperate link to regain it. However, at end of the NEET candidate login, there is a link for “Forgot Password”.

  • Through OTP.

Step 5 – After entering the details, the candidates get the option to reset the password. The candidates should now choose the password wisely and keep it safe as well.

How to Download NEET 2019 Admit Card?

The NEET exam admit card 2019 is only released on the NEET candidate login. National Testing Agency (NTA) does not issue it via post. However, after a candidate downloads the admit card, a copy of it is automatically sent at the registered e-mail id.

The step-by-step process to download the hall ticket of NEET 2019 is as follows:

What to Carry Other Than NEET 2019 Admit Card

Due to the history of the examination, authorities are very particular about what to carry and what not to carry to the exam hall.

The item that candidates must carry to the exam hall:

  • A coloured print copy of NTA NEET 2019 Admit Card.
  • 1 Passport Size Photograph – Same as that uploaded in the application form.
  • 1 Valid Photo ID Proof – Govt. authorised.
  • PwD Certificate

a. 1 Passport Size Photograph – Candidates have to carry this because it has to be pasted on the attendance sheet on exam day.

b. 1 Valid Photo ID Proof – It can be a pan card, aadhaar card, driving license, voter id card, passport, ration card, etc.

c. PwD Certificate – Only for those who claimed relaxation under PwD category.

Only candidates with diabetes can carry sugar tablets and fruits like apple, banana, and oranges and transparent water bottle. However, other than this no eatables are allowed.

What Not to Carry to Exam Hall

Other than the above mentioned items, the candidates should not carry anything else to the exam hall. However, there are certain items which have been banned by NTA and can harm the candidature of the candidates.

Following the dress code, as important as carrying NEET 2019 admit card. NTA has defined it for boys and girls and it is:

NEET 2019 Exam Pattern

NEET 2019 is the only exam by NTA which is being held in pen and paper mode. The exam is be of 3 hours and candidates have to mark the answers in the OMR sheet. The details about NEET 2019 pattern are as follows:

Language: The question paper of NEET is be prepared in 15 languages, which are:

Question Type – All the questions are of multiple choice type (MCQs)

Marking Scheme – Candidates get 4 marks for correct answer and 1 marks shall be deducted for incorrect answer.

NEET 2019 Exam Day Instructions

NTA has stated some exam day instructions, which the candidates must abide by. These are as follows:

#1. Do not carry bags or anything valuable. At the exam hall, there is no provision for the safeguard of candidate’s items.

#2. Only after checking NEET 2019 Admit Card, the invigilator puts their signature on the answer sheet and the attendance sheet.

#3. Candidates shall not be allowed to take any break between the exam. They can only leave the exam hall after handing over the OMR answer sheet.

#4. Candidates have to sign twice on the attendance sheet, in the provided space. Other than this, the candidates also have to put their finger impression on the attendance sheet.

#5. Make sure you check the booklet and ensure that it has all the pages.

#6. Candidates have to do all the rough work on the test booklet and not on the OMR sheet.

#7. The invigilator informs candidates after half time and right before the exam is about to end.

#8. Candidates should not use any unfair means, it directly harm the candidature.

About NEET 2019

National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test is a national level examination, conducted for admission of candidates in MBBS and BDS courses. All the seats are filled through NEET score and AIR, and only AIIMS, NIMHANS, JIPMER, and PGIMER are exempted from the exam. The exam is only held once a year so far.

The process of the exam is such that the candidates have to register, then download NEET 2019 admit card, appear for the exam and attend counselling. The counselling of NEET is conducted by MCC and only qualified candidates are called for it. Q. I have diabetes, can I carry chocolates to the exam hall?
A. No, you cannot. However, you may carry fruits or sugar tablets. The fruits to be carried should be like banana, apple, grapes, etc. No fancy fruit.

A. Nothing can be done now. NTA has clearly stated that the exam center once allocated cannot be changed.
