Since childhood, all children set goals for themselves as to what they want to do in the future. Similarly, Soyeb had also set his goal of becoming a doctor when he grew up. One reason for this was that his math skills were a bit weak, due to which he wanted to pursue biology.

Let us tell you, Soyeb achieved something in 2020 that had never happened in the history of NEET. Indeed, Soyeb secured rank 1 in NEET 2020, securing 720 out of 720. Let us tell you that Soyeb comes from a small village in Odisha and completed his studies there. Apart from this, Soyeb was an average student during his school days. He never expected himself to perform extremely well in the NEET and top it.

Prepared for NEET from Kota

Soyeb went to Kota after dashami. Soyeb also got very good marks on his board. Now he needed good coaching so that he could prepare for the medical entrance exam. Upon reaching Kota, Soyeb started feeling that there were many students who had been preparing for many years. If I am so far behind these few students, then my competition is with 18 lakh students. Soyeb began to feel that the only thing under his control was his own efforts. After this, Soyeb commenced his preparations. During this time, he also learned many things from his teachers. Teachers tell them to maintain consistency in their studies, and they will definitely progress.

Regularity is very important

Soyeb says that it is very important to maintain regularity for any competitive exam, including NEET. For this, you need to study continuously without taking breaks. Only then you will be able to crack any major competition and progress. For this, it is important that you do not take a break in your preparation. Additionally, after coaching, engage in self-study for 6 to 7 hours daily. After this will lead you far ahead. Following this approach, you can surpass 90 percent of your competitors. That’s why you should do self-study and avoid taking a break in your studies. To support this, it is important to keep yourself physically fit.

A mock test will boost confidence

It is very important to give mock tests for any competitive exam. Soyeb also took mock tests and scored well. But many times there was a lot of difference in his scores. At times, Soyeb used to perform very well, and sometimes his marks started decreasing. The main reason for this was that when he performed well, he reduced his study time, leading to decline in his marks. There were many reasons behind this.

Soyeb used to spend about one to two hours every day on his smartphone. This resulted in low scores in his mock tests. After this, Soyeb started devoting more time to studies and reduced his smartphone usage. Due to this, his marks started increasing rapidly, and his performance in mock tests improved significantly.

Self-study is very important

Soyeb believes that the role of coaching is only 10 to 15% of your selection. After this, all the hard work is yours alone. You can crack the exam and qualify for it only with your hard work. That’s why, when the coaching was over, Soyeb used to do self-study for 10 to 12 hours daily. Apart from this, sometimes if something gets missed due to ill health, he recovers it. Due to this, Soyeb’s preparation improved significantly. Soyeb performed well in the neet mock tests as well.

It is important to complete the week’s topics

Soyeb always paid attention to his weekly topics and used to solve those topics. This helps all the aspirants a lot. Not only this, but you can score well in any competitive exam with this. Analyzing neet previous year’s questions and then solving them. This will boost your preparation even more. Similarly, Soyeb has completed all his preparations and has shared this method with all the students. Apart from this, Soyeb runs a YouTube channel under his own name with approximately one lakh subscribers. If you wish to hear more from him directly, click on the provided link.
