Is there an entrance exam for Telangana ANM admission 2026-27?
No. Telangana ANM admission has no entrance test. Under the CH&FW notification, a district Selection Committee picks candidates purely on merit, using the aggregate marks scored in the Intermediate Public Examination or its equivalent.
Because there is no test, there is no admit card, answer key or scorecard. Your printed application, certificates and Intermediate marks are what the committee checks.

How to Apply for Telangana ANM Admission 2026-27
You apply online on the CH&FW Telangana website and then submit a printed copy of the form with your certificates and the fee DD. The steps below follow the 2025-27 notification; check the 2026-27 notice when it is released.
Apply Online for Telangana ANM 2026
Applications for Telangana ANM 2026 are expected in November 2026.
- Open chfw.telangana.gov.in when the 2026-27 notification is out and click the MPHW(F)/ANM online admission application link.
- Fill a separate application for each Government training institute you want. For private institutes, fill separate applications for Free and Management quota seats in the district.
- Fill every mandatory (*) field, upload your photograph and press Submit.
- Download and print the filled-in application form. Only downloaded applications are considered for selection.
- Attach photocopies of your SSC certificate, Intermediate certificate, caste certificate (SC/ST/BC) and residence or study certificate for Class 4 to 10, with a Rs 200 demand draft.
- Submit the printed form to the Principal of the Government MPHW(F) school, or to the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO) for private institutes, in person or by registered post before the last date (5:00 PM in 2025).

Who can apply for Telangana ANM 2026-27?
Female candidates who have passed Intermediate (Class 12) in any group can apply for the MPHW(F)/ANM course.
- Minimum qualification: Intermediate pass with any group, or its equivalent.
- Only female candidates are admitted to the MPHW(F) course.
- There is no upper age limit, as per Indian Nursing Council Notification No. 11 dated 21 August 2023.
- Admission is made once a year, as per INC regulations.
How are Telangana ANM 2026-27 candidates selected?
A district Selection Committee ranks candidates on their aggregate Intermediate marks and fills the free seats in that order.
- Committee: Joint Collector (Chairman), District Medical and Health Officer (Member-Convener), Superintendent of the district headquarters hospital and the Principal of the training institute.
- Candidates who passed through the compartmental system are placed after those who passed in a single attempt.
- The rule of reservation and the local-area reservation rules of the Education Department apply. Unfilled reserved seats are kept vacant.
- Private institutes admit to free seats only as allotted by the committee. Management seats are filled by the institute after the committee checks the list.
- Selection lists are prepared district-wise, so ask the office where you submitted your form about your status.
Which institutes offer MPHW(F)/ANM in Telangana?
In 2025-27, CH&FW filled seats in five Government MPHW(F) training institutes, each with 40 seats, all of them free seats.
