How is XAT 2020 Result Prepared?
It is to be noted that XAT result 2020 is prepared based on the final answer key. After the XLRI releases the provisional answer key, candidates can submit objection in it. If the objection and proof submitted by the candidate is found valid and accepted, relevant changes are made and a final answer key is released. The options marked in the final answer key is then used for preparation of result. You can check the process for calculation of XAT 2020 score below.
Step 1: The options as marked in XAT 2020 final answer key is used for evaluation of score.
Step 2: As per last year’s information, it is expected that for a correct answer 01 marks are added, 0.25 marks are deducted for an incorrect answer and 0.10 marks are deducted for above eight unattempted questions.
Step 3: Marks obtained by adding and deducting the score is the total score obtained by the candidate in the XAT entrance test.
Formula to calculate XAT score
XAT 2020 score = (No of correct answer x 1) – (No of wrong answer x 0.25) – (8 unattempted question x 0.10)

How to Get Duplicate XAT 2020 Scorecard?
In case if you have lost / damaged your XAT scorecard, you can submit a request for issuance of duplicate scorecard. To get it, you shall have to pay an amount through a demand draft. As per last year’s information, you shall have to pay an amount of Rs. 300 to get a duplicate XAT scorecard.
XAT 2020 Selection Procedure
After the declaration of XAT 2020 result, each participating institute releases XAT cut off which a candidate need to obtain to get admission. The selection process for XAT 2020 differ from Institute to Institute. Check the selection procedure below.
Selection Procedure for XLRI
- First candidates have to appear for Xavier Aptitude Test.
- Once the result releases candidates have to register themselves based on the score.
- Shortlisted candidates are then called for GD/PI for next round.

- Selected candidates then have to reach the decided center with their documents for completing the procedure.
