XAT Result 2027: Date, Scorecard Download, Percentile

The XAT 2027 result is expected in January 2027. XLRI says results are announced about three weeks after the exam, which is on 3 January 2027. Candidates download the scorecard from xatonline.in, and no hard copy is sent. XLRI and other institutes then shortlist candidates using XAT percentiles.

How to Check the XAT 2027 Result

You check the XAT 2027 result by downloading your scorecard from the official XAT website once it is declared.

Go to the official XAT website.
Click the XAT 2027 scorecard or result link.
Log in with your XAT login details.
View your section-wise and overall percentiles, then download and save the scorecard.

For XAT 2026, the scorecard could be downloaded only from 31 January to 31 March 2026, so save a copy as soon as the XAT 2027 scorecard is out.

How do XAT 2027 percentiles work?

Your percentile shows how you did compared with everyone who took XAT 2027. Because XAT is a single-slot exam, every candidate takes the same paper, so there is no normalisation between shifts.

GK is not part of the overall percentile. XLRI and other institutes look at both sectional and overall percentiles when they shortlist.

What happens after the XAT 2027 result?

After the result, each institute releases its own shortlist and runs its own selection rounds. There is no common counselling for XAT.

XLRI shortlists for BM and HRM interviews only on XAT scores, using separate cut-offs by programme, stream and gender.
Final XLRI offers consider XAT performance, academic background, work experience, the personal interview or group discussion, and extracurricular activities.
Other XAT-accepting B-schools follow their own processes, so apply to each one separately.

XLRI has not given a date. Its FAQs say results come about three weeks after the exam, so the result is expected in January 2027.

Will I get a hard copy of my XAT 2027 scorecard?

No. The scorecard can only be downloaded from the XAT website; XLRI does not send a hard copy.

Does the GK score affect my XAT 2027 percentile?

No. GK is left out of the overall percentile. XLRI uses it only at the final selection stage.

Is there counselling after the XAT 2027 result?

No. Each institute that accepts XAT shortlists candidates and runs its own interviews or group discussions.
