CLAT-2014 result will be published on 31st May 2014 on the CLAT Website ( with an overall merit list of candidates prepared according to their CLAT Score and Rank along with their categories. In addition, state specific and all India merit lists will be prepared for various categories of candidates like General/SC/ST/OBC/Women/PWD/NRI etc. The candidate will be able to access the results through the personal LOGIN ACCOUNT.

The candidates are required to keep checking their LOGIN ACCOUNT regularly so that they can fill-in the preferences of the NLUs at appropriate time and also get the updated information about the CLAT in order to complete the formalities, if any, from their end. CLAT 2014 result update

Dear Candidate, We are carrying out the physical verification of OMR Answer Sheets (reconciliation of the bar code sticker and the candidate sticker) of each of the examinee manually. We expect to release the results by 1700 hours on Friday, 6 June 2014. The exact timing of declaration will be displayed on the CLAT website. A complete-merit list (name, roll number, score, rank, birth date, gender, category, domicile) of all candidates along with category-wise merit list, your personal OMR Answer Sheet and all the four sets of model answer keys will be made accessible in your LOGIN ACCOUNT with the CLAT. You can visit the CLAT Secretariat for physical verification, if interested, after the announcement of results till 10th June, 2014 (1700 Hrs). CLAT Office will be open on Saturday and Sunday as well between 1000 Hrs and 1700 Hrs. Kindly intimate about your visit for physical verification along with Roll Number, 24 hours in advance. CLAT 2014 has been conducted on 11 May 2014 and admission will be on basis of scores obtained in the entrance exam only.  The conducting  National Law University this year is Gujarat National Law University, Attalika Avenue, Knowledge Corridor, Koba, Gandhinagar, Gujarat – 382007.

Procedure to break the tie in case of equal marks secured by the candidates appearing the CLAT

In case of equal marks secured by candidates, the procedure to break the tie will be as per the following:

  1. Higher marks in the Essay Type Descriptive Section in CLAT-2014
  2. Higher age
  3. Computerized draw of lots

How to view the CLAT result?

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance test conducted by 14 National Law Universities/Institutes for admissions to five-year integrated under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes.
