About AFMC MBBS Admission 2018 Application Form – Eligible candidates who are interested in AFMC MBBS Admission 2018 must have appeared for the NEET 2018 examination conducted by CBSE. They also have to submit AFMC MBBS Application Form 2018 online. The NEET Roll number would be essential for being recognized for admission to AFMC Pune and shall be required at all stages of the admission process. Candidates must note that the counselling for 85% state quota seats in Government colleges and all the seats in private colleges for MBBS admissions through NEET will be conducted in each state by the state’s own counselling authority.

A total of 145 (117 boys and 28 girls) will be selected as Medical Cadets for imparting training (including MBBS course) at the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune with liability to get commissioned in the Armed Forces Medical Services as Medical Officers. The candidates selected in addition to being doctors will also be functioning as officers of the Indian Armed Forces, wherein, they have to be both physically and psychologically robust to be able to undergo the rigors of life in the Armed Forces. The selected candidates need to have leadership qualities, effective communication skills and excellent physical standards, as the same are prime requisites for serving officers of the Armed Forces.
