How is the BAU PG merit list prepared?
BAU ranks candidates only by their marks in the entrance exam. If two candidates have the same marks, date of birth decides the order. Seats are then given on merit-cum-choice at counselling, under the Bihar Government reservation policy (UR, EWS, BC, EBC, SC, ST and BC women) and its 100-point roster.
What is the expected BAU PG Entrance 2027 cut off?
BAU does not publish closing ranks or marks. The official cut off is the minimum score needed to enter the merit list, fixed in the prospectus (2025-26 prospectus; same rule for Master’s and Ph.D.):
| Category | Minimum marks to be placed in merit list |
|---|---|
| SC / ST | 40% |
| All other categories | 45% |
On the 100-mark paper that is 45 marks, or 40 for SC and ST. In 2026, 945 candidates made the Master’s qualified list.
