Why 2024 was different: NEET PG 2024 was the year the exam was held in two shifts, so raw marks alone did not decide the rank – NBEMS normalised scores across shifts. From 2025 onwards the exam returned to a single shift, and NEET PG 2026 is a single shift exam of 180 questions.
