Symbiosis International University has 15 constituent colleges that offer MBA program. In order to get admission in any of them, appearing in SNAP is mandatory. SNAP refers to the Symbiosis National Aptitude exam – it is a national level MBA entrance exam, meaning that students from across the country can appear in it. The SNAP exam for Symbiosis MBA admission for the academic session 2018-20 will be held on 17th December 2017. Admission process involves completing SNAP 2018 registration and application for SIU programs, downloading SNAP 2018 admit card, appearing in entrance exam, followed by GE-PIWAT of qualified candidates.

One has to obtain high enough marks in SNAP MBA Entrance Exam 2018 (more than cut off) so that they get shortlisted by institute of choice for next stages. The stages of selection after exam are group exercise, personal interview, and written admission test – also referred to as GE, PI WAT.

SNAP 2018 Exam Date
The first thing to know about SNAP 2018 is its exam date: SIU will conduct SNAP exam on 17th December 2017.

Register for SNAP 2018 on the website snaptest.org. Also submit application form for SIU institute programs. Candidates can complete SNAP 2018 registration as well as register for institutes of Symbiosis Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad .
01 December – 17 December 2017
Download SNAP 2018 Admit Card. (Admit card is the document containing candidate and test centre details which is issued by SIU for applicants. It is mandatory to carry a hard copy of SNAP 2018 Admit Card to test centre.)

Date of exam. SNAP 2018 exam will be held in online mode on this date.
28 December 2017
SIU will declare SNAP 2018 Result on this date.
SNAP 2018 Registration
Registration for SNAP 2018 is completely online and must be done before the last date.
- Visit snaptest.org and click on register now button.
- Enter personal, academic, communication details asked in SNAP 2018 Registration.
- Upload a scanned recent passport size photograph which is not more than 3 months old.
- Pay application fee of Rs 1750 either through online mode or demand draft.
- In order to pay registration charges of application for programs, pay Rs 1000 per programme in same mode.
- The last date to pay fee for programmes will be different from SNAP 2018 registration dates.
SNAP 2018 Application Form – Apply for SIU institutes with it
It has been made easy for candidates to apply for institutes of Symbiosis at the same time as filling SNAP 2018 application form.
- Candidates have to select PG programs in SNAP 2018 application form.
- A payment of Rs 1000 per program plus GST @ 18% has to be paid.
- Payment for Symbiosis MBA programs has to be paid through online mode or DD.
- A candidate can pay fee for SIU programs even after SNAP 2018 application form last date, depending upon last date to apply for that program. Institute website must be checked for this.
- It is important to check program eligibility before applying.

How To Prepare For SNAP 2018?

Arithmetic and Geometry are two key components of this section in SNAP 2018. One has to be efficient in answering questions on Time and Work, Mixtures and Alligations, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Time and Distance, Averages and Profit & Loss, Mensuration. Data sufficiency and interpretation type questions are also present.

GE is said to be an easy section in SNAP 2018. One with strong grammar can score well in it. A good tip by an education expert says “Focus on Kangaroo Words (A kangaroo word is a word that contains letters of another word, in order, with the same meaning. For example: the word masculine contains the word male, which is a synonym of the first word; similarly, the word observe contains its synonym see.)”
Analytical & Logical Reasoning
Good attempts: 21-22, out of 40.
To score well in AR LR, one needs to have good observation and deduction skills. Practice a good number of critical reasoning, deductive logic, analogies, logical reasoning sets, series, visual reasoning, arrangement, blood relations and puzzles to get better at it.
Good attempts: 15-20, out of 30.
As per exam analysis, questions most frequently asked are on Static GK, Current Affairs, Brand and Business GK. Under current affairs, focus is on major news stories, awards and prizes, sports event winners and important mergers and acquisitions in the last one year.
