The candidates who are interested in joining CFA Institute for the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA)program for June 2018 Level I, II and III, they were given the opportunity to get registered till 20 September 2017. Now the deadline to register has been extended. The new last date for Early registration fee is 27 September 2017. Complete registration by visiting the official website at cfainstitute.org. If you did not register during early registration, you can still get registered. But if you wish to register now, the fee you would be required to pay is US$ 1400. So if you are willing to get registered then this article is for you.

Latest – Due to heavy website traffic affecting ability to register for the CFA exam, CFA Institute has extended the registration deadline through Wednesday, 27 September at 11:59 p.m. ET.

The website will have everything you need to know. CFA June 2018 Level I, II, III Registration Fee

The Registration fee will be accepted as per schedule. The amount will be acceptable by any of the mode indicated in the registration process.

For those who registered before early registration deadline do not have the need to revisit the process, but this those who wish to be prepared for future can refer to this procedure. If you had registered already then just provide your email id and password and you enter the dashboard. You can edit your profile, change entries etc.

Please note that if you register now, then you will be required to pay extra money i.e. US$ 1400. Candidates will, first of all, create their account. The first step will be to provide a valid email id. After that, a form will appear on your computer screen containing spaces for the details such as Name- first name/ last name, Email id- pre-filled, choosing password and entering security question. If details are filled correctly, then your account will be created within 5 seconds.

Creating Account

Click the link which shall take you to the main page. Here you will see CFA programme under the title Programmes. Then in blue color icon hit the button “ Register for Exam” First of all,, the candidates need to create an account by entering their Email ID and Choose the password of your choice. As you keep on typing the desired password, the instructions for choosing a strong password will appear. Pay heed to those and click create account. Once you filter these details, your account will be created.

Now get ready by selecting your exam. As you must be knowing that for next exam to take place is June 2018. Therefore you will see 23 June Level I exam.

Step-1. Choose Exam

Choose the exam you want to appear. At this point only 23 June 2018 Level I exam is open.

Step-2. Address details

Choose your country,/ Region, Address Line-1, Address Line 2, City, State/ Territory, Postal Code. Hit save and Continue to proceed to next step.

Step-3. Filling test centre location

Choose your test centre location. You will receive your test centre address approximately one month before your exam. Adhere to last date to request for a change in test centre. You will get a maximum of 8 centres locations in India to choose from. They are as follows:- Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai , New Delhi, Pune.

Step-4. Filling International Travel Passport details

On the exam day, you will be required to bring the international travel passport as a valid id proof for verification purpose. The  International Travel Passport must have been issued by a National Government. It shall contain your name, date of birth, passport number, expiration date, and the name of the country that issued the passport

Enter details like Country of Issuance, last four characters of passport number, passport expiration date, Your name, Middle name, family name (last name), Suffix, Gender, Date Of Birth

Step-5. Checking entrance requirements

It is mandatory to see whether you are eligible to apply or not. The eligibility criteria is as follows:-

(i) Passport Requirement- An international travel passport and

(ii) One of the following:-

  • Undergraduate degree requirement- a Bachelor’s degree is essential OR
  • Final Year appearing candidates- candidate yet to complete the final year of his/her bachelor’s degree program

Step-6. Employment Status

What is your primary employment status- Choose from the following options:- Employed Full Time, Employed Part-Time, Student, Unemployed, Retired.

Here in this sections you will have to answer 9 questions in Yes or No. Step-8- Candidate agreement

There will be 21 policies which you must read carefully and after having read them all Only, proceed to Tick mark the statement of understanding (sou)

SOU Reads- “I understand, accept and agree to comply with the terms of the Candidate Agreement, as amended by CFA Institute from time to time. I understand that CFA Institute has the authority to void my exam results, and reject, suspend or terminate my candidacy at any time for my failure to comply with the Candidate Agreement.”

Step-9. Filling curriculum format

This is the supporting material that the institute will send you through two mediums to support your exam preparation. You can choose form E-book or E-book+print.

Step- 10. Getting to know the exam preparation providers

You will receive exam preparation support and emails on information. Yes. I consent to receive emails and other electronic communications from my local CFA Institute member society about additional exam preparation opportunities. I understand that I can withdraw this consent at any time by updating my CFA Institute account.

Step- 11. Making Payment and finally

Make the payment. Credit card, Wire transfer, ACH, check, Money order, or postal order. Also provide Credit Card Number, Cardholder Name, Expiration Date.

Step-12. Reviewing your application status

At this point you will be able to see all the steps and their links. If you encounter in any of the steps. Then please correct them. And finally take a print of the page for future reference.
