The result of Jain University admission is declared in a merit list format. It has the name of the candidates and their application number who are selected for counselling. Due to COVID-19, the counselling is being done online using google hangouts.

New Changes in Jain University Admission 2020 Due to COVID-19

Here are the lastest changes to note:

• JET 2020 for admission in UG (except for B.Tech and B.Des) courses shall be held in online mode and not in computer-based test mode.

• The test will be followed by video interview

How is online test different from CBT?

There is a difference between a computer-based test and an online exam. To appear for CBT, candidates have to go to a center and take the test on the assigned system. Whereas, to appear for the online exam, candidates need not go to any center. An online exam can be taken from anywhere and from any system.

Jain University Admission 2020 Application Form

The application form for Jain Entrance Test is released in the online mode at the official website of the university.

Step 1: The candidates are required to first register themselves at jainuniversity.ac.in.

Step 2: After entering all the details, the candidates get their login credentials.

Step 3: After getting the credentials, the candidates need to fill the application form and enter the personal details, academic details, contact details, program details, etc.

Step 4: Next step is entering the details, the candidates are required to upload the documents in a specified format. As the last step, pay the application fee.

Step 5: Keep the application number safely for future reference. It is needed at the time of downloading admit card if that releases online, and for the result.

Note: Candidates who wish to apply offline for Jain University admission 2020 have to purchase a non-refundable online application coupon from the Admissions Office and redeem the same by entering the specific coupon code in the Online Payment Gateway under the heading ‘Coupon Code’.

Application Fee:

• For UG programmes, the candidates are required to pay Rs 550.
• For PG programmes, the candidates are required to pay Rs 1050.

Mode of Payment: Candidates have to pay the Jain University admission 2020 application fee via Online mode (Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking). Coupons can also be purchased from the Admission office by cash.

Jain University Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for Jain University admission 2020, candidates must check out the eligibility criteria for each course as mentioned below:

For UG Programmes:

• Qualification: Candidates must have completed 12th class through PUC/ ICSE/ CBSE or any any board can apply for Jain University UG Admission 2020.
• Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have an aggregate of minimum 45% in 12th class.
• Candidates who have completed their 12th class or the final year candidates of 12th class awaiting their Result can apply for the admission.

Note:

• International Baccalaureate students should get 30 credits to qualify for the course. Cambridge students must study 2 or 3 subjects at ‘A’ Level (Advanced level).

For PG Programmes:

Qualification:

• Candidates who want to pursue MBA, MMS & M.Com must have a valid CAT, MAT, XAT, NMAT, GMAT, CMAT, and ATMA score will be exempted from the Jain Entrance Written Test and will be qualified directly for the Group Discussion / Personal Interview held afterwards.
• Candidates who want to pursue M.Tech must have a valid GATE score will be exempted from the Jain Entrance Written Test and will be qualified directly for the Personal Interview.

Qualifying Marks:

All the other candidates must have secured an aggregate of minimum 50% marks in their graduation.

Process of Jain University Admission 2020

• Candidates first have to appear for the Jain Entrance Test (JET) the Group Discussion as per the schedule.
• The qualified candidates have then have to appear for the Personal Interview.
• Final admission is granted based on JET, PI and GD scores

Group Discussion (GD): The GD is one of the vital components of the selection procedure and it is a formal exercise that facilitates the exchange of ideas on a given subject or topic. The GD is a powerful tool for assessing personality traits, leadership qualities and attitudes.

Personal Interview: The final rung of the ladder involves a personal interview. Candidates who have merged successfully from the other levels will be called to attend a personal interview with the Admission Committee.
