Azim Premji University, Bangalore has released the online application form for UG regular admission 2022 on the official website i.e azimpremjiuniversity.edu. You can apply well in advance to ensure you get a place to study with us. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form. Only those eligible candidates who will fill the application form before the last date are eligible for National Entrance Test 2022.

How to fill Azim Premji University Application Form 2022?
The various step to fill the application form for Azim Premji University Application Form 2022 is given below.
- Visit the official website i.e azimpremjiuniversity.edu.
- Click the apply now button on UG admissions page if you are applying for UG. Otherwise, if you are applying for PG then click apply now link on PG admissions page.
- The new registration page appears. Enter email ID, mobile number, date of birth for the purpose of registration.
- The system sends an email to you with login details.
- Login with the credentials sent and start filling the application form.
- Upload the documents in a proper format.
- As the last step, pay the application fee.
Application Fee: The candidates are required to pay Rs 500 for submitting the application form.
Mode of payment: The fee can be paid via online payment gateways such as debit card/credit card / net banking. It can also be paid via offline mode by submitting the Demand Draft.

Azim Premji University Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Those who are eligible can apply for admission. The university underlines criteria of eligibility separately for UG and PG programs. An overview of both is as follows.
Age Limit: The candidates must be 19 years of age while joining the programme for 2022. (For UG programmes).
Postgraduate (PG) Programme
- Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (including Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Environmental Sciences, Commerce, Management, etc.) from a recognized University.
- Undergraduate students who are appearing for their final year examinations and completing their graduation on or before September 2021 are also eligible to apply. The provisional admission is valid only on the successful completion of graduation.
LLM: A Bachelor degree in Law (LL.B. 3 years / 5 years) from a recognised University in India or abroad is necessary.
Under Graduate (UG): Candidates who completed Class 12 exams in any Indian board with at least 50% marks or the equivalent of Class 12 in any foreign board exam with grades equivalent to at least 50% marks can apply.

Our selection process includes an entrance test and a personal interview. Both these are conducted in different locations all over India.
Entrance test
Admit card
On receipt of your application form (complete in all respects), you will receive an email about the date, time and other details for your interview.
Personal interview
If you are shortlisted, you will have a personal interview. You will receive a confirmation email with the date and time of your interview.
The interviews are conducted online. The link to your interview will be sent to you via email.

- Take a look at a few samples of the multiple choice component of the question paper.
- This has negative marking
- Every correct answer gets 2 marks.

Azim Premji University’s scholarships are based on family income
- Students with an annual family income of less than 15 lakhs are eligible for different levels of scholarships.
- Scholarships are for tuition and accommodation.
Financial assistance process
If you need financial support, you will need to fill in a form applying for financial assistance. The University reserves the right to award or reject financial assistance and its decision will be final and binding.
- You will need to fill in an application form providing details of income, including salary, pension, rent, agriculture, business, investments, commission or other sources of income.
- You have to produce supporting documents at the time of interview. We do not consider delayed submissions, so do prepare for the documentation required.
- We will conduct our own verification and due diligence of your documents and reserve the right to make a final decision that is non-negotiable.
Four types of scholarship
We offer different types of scholarships. Remember, fees are divided into categories of tuition and accommodation.
- A full scholarship including a full waiver of tuition and accommodation fees
- You will have to pay charges for food at actuals.
- In exceptional circumstances, we do offer scholarships for food.
- A partial waiver of tuition and accommodation fees.
Insurance
We offer group insurance that includes life, hospitalization, and accident insurance, without additional charges.

Important points to remember
- Fees are paid at the beginning of each semester in July and January.
- Charges for food are payable at actuals.
- There is no fee or deposit for the library, laboratory or IT facilities and examinations or books.
- Accommodation includes charges for internet connectivity and other facilities.
- You will be covered under the student insurance scheme at no additional cost.
- You will have to bear all out of pocket personal expenses.
- You may incur expense upto INR 15,000 approximately for the period of one year for books, field trips and other academic expenses.

You can apply for more than one programme by declaring your preference. The application fee of INR 500/- remains the same whether you apply for one or more programmes. However, you can make only one application (online or offline). Duplicate applications made both online as well as offline are liable for rejection.
If you miss the deadline, you can email Admissions Team with your request and reason(s) for missing the deadline. Your request will be passed on to the Financial Aid team, which reserves the right to grant you permission to apply to post the deadline.
Yes! You need to demonstrate having completed Class 12 in any equivalent degree.
No, our programmes are full-time (3 and 4 years) and residential and based in Bengaluru.
You can get hold of an Honours degree by taking up additional research work of 12 credits. Six credits are for a thesis. The Honours pathway helps you apply your knowledge to synthesise a piece of work. The thesis involves working closely with a faculty member on a specific topic, developing a research question and writing up a thesis.
