DSAT 2019 Aglasem

DSAT 2019 or Dayananda Sagar Admission Test 2019 is an entrance examination for UG and PG admission in Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore. The application form for DSAT 2019 is available now, candidates can their register themselves until the 3 days prior to each examination date. The exam is conducted for the aspirants willing to take admission in various UG and PG programs. The DSAT 2019 entrance test will be held on 27, 28 April and 4, 5, 25, and 26 May 2019. The DSAT 2019 will be held in 82 cities (Exam Centres) across India. DSAT 2019

DSAT 2019 is conducted for the candidates willing to seek admission in B.Tech, B.Pharma, M.Tech., Pharm.D, M.Pharma. & MBA programme. Candidates are requested to be present at the Test Venue at least 90 minutes before the time of commencement of the DSAT 2019 Entrance Exam. To check the dates of DSAT 2019 refer to the table below.

DSAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Interested candidates should fulfil the eligibility criteria first and then further proceed to fill the application form of DSAT 2019. Aspirants can check the eligibility conditions specified for each course in the table below.

  • Pass in PUC / 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) in the above subjects taken together, of any Board recognized by the respective State Governments / Central Government / Union Territories or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
  • Good score in DSAT or CET / COMED-K or any other equivalent examination conducted by recognized Institute / Agency.
BCA – Bachelor of Computer Applications
  • Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent and a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate.
  • Good score in DSAT Entrance Test.
B.Sc: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and Genetics
B.Sc: Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Microbiology
B.Sc: Microbiology, Genetics, and BioChemistry
  • Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and English with Biology or Biotechnology or Mathematics or any other Life Science subject as optional and a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and any one of the optional subjects.
BBA: Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category).
  • Good score in DSAT Entrance Test.
B.Com: Bachelor of Commerce
  • Candidates who have completed Two year Pre – University course of Karnataka State or its equivalent with Business Studies and Accountancy as two major subjects of study in both first and second year pre-university with aggregate of 50% PUC/ CBSE/ ISCE/10+2 or Equivalent Examination (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) .
  • Good score in DSAT Entrance Test.
B.Pharm Pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and English with Mathematics or Biotechnology or Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects with a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate Lateral: Diploma holders in Pharmacy from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Pharm D Pass in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and English with Mathematics or Biology as optional subjects / DPharm or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India.
B.SC ( N ) Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and a minimum of 45% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
PB B.Sc ( N) Pass in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent examination preferably with Science subjects with DSAT50% marks in aggregate Candidates should be a registered Nurse and registered Midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council. Candidates should have completed their GNM course on or before 01.06.2017.
Bachelor’s in Physiotherapy (B.P.T.) Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, English, and Biology with a minimum of 40% mark taken together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
B.A Journalism Pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent and a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. Arts group subjects are preferred.

A candidate who has passed B.Sc. in any discipline of Life Sciences, Biosciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural, B.E. (Biotechnology), Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Pharmacy or Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery or equivalent examination recognized by DSU with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in all the subjects in all the years is eligible for admission to M.Sc.. Eligibility shall be 45% in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST candidates. Note: For admission to M.Sc. Biochemistry, the candidate must have studied either Chemistry or Biochemistry as one of the major subjects during Bachelors.
MBA: Master of Business Management
  • Pass in a Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration recognized by this University or who have passes any other examination recognized by this University as equivalent thereto. The candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) of all the years of the degree examinations
  • Good Score in DSAT /MAT/CAT/PGCET Entrance Test.
M Pharma Candidates should have passed B.pharm from an institution recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate
M.Sc (N) Candidates should have passed BSc/PC BSc/PB BSc Nursing recognized by the Indian Nursing Council and a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. Experience: Applicants must have 1 year of experience after BSc Nursing in a hospital or in a community health program or in a school or college of nursing. PB BSc Degree holders need to have one year experience either before or after Post Basic BSc Nursing degree.
Master’s in Physiotherapy (M.P.T.) Candidates should have passed BPT from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. INTERNSHIP: Completed or completing their compulsory internship on or before 15.08.2017

DSAT 2019 Application Form

The application form for UG and PG admission has been released on the official website or Direct link to fill the same is also given on the “application form” page. The candidates can register for DSAT via online mode.

To apply via online mode, the candidates will have to submit Program Type, Select Course, Candidate’s Full Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Email Address, and Mobile Number. The candidates will then have to fill the application form, upload images, and pay the fee amount.

DSAT 2019 Admit Card

The Admit Card of DSTA 2019 will be released on the University website. Candidates will be able to download the Hall Ticket/Admit Card from  April 15, 2019. Admit Card will be issued to only those candidates who will submit the application on time. The candidates must have to download their admit card form internet as it will not be sent to any candidate by post or through any other medium.

The admit card of DSTA 2019 is an important document, which should be kept safe as it contains all the important information related to the exam. The candidates who will not be able to produce it on the exam day, shall not be allowed to enter the exam hall in any case. It is important to keep the admit card safe even after the examination because it will be needed during counselling and seat allotment.

DSAT 2019 Result

DSAT 2019 Result will be announced by Dayananda Sagar University in online mode. Candidates can check the result on the official website or direct link will be provided on the “result” page in the quick links section here for the convenience of the students. On the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the entrance exam, candidates will be called for the further rounds of admission. Candidates are advised to save the scorecard and keep it until the end of the admission process.

DSAT 2019 Counselling

DSU will release the merit list on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in their qualifying exams and as well as the DSAT 2019 test conducted by Dayanand Sagar University. At the time of counselling, the students need to be present physically at Dayananda Sagar University. Also, candidates are also required to bring the relevant documents on the day of counselling then only he/she will be considered for the admission.
