Haryana LEET 2027 is the Online Common Entrance Test (OCET) run by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) for lateral entry to the 2nd year (3rd semester) of B.E./B.Tech. in Haryana. Seats are filled on OCET rank. Registration is expected in May to June 2027 and the test in July 2027.

HSTES has not released the 2027 key dates yet, so the dates below are expected months based on earlier cycles. In 2026, registration ran from 22 May to 23 June 2026 and OCET was held from 30 June 2026.

How to Apply for Haryana LEET 2027
You apply online at techadmissionshry.gov.in; there is no printed form. The 2027 registration is expected to open in May or June 2027, and the steps below follow the 2026-27 prospectus.
Apply Online for Haryana LEET 2027
Applications for Haryana LEET 2027 are expected in May 2027.
- Open the HSTES online admission portal when the 2027 registration opens.
- Sign up for B.Tech (Lateral Entry) and note your unique registration number and password.
- Fill in your details, including category, sub-category and PPP ID (Haryana candidates).
- Upload a colour photograph (JPG, up to 30 KB) and your signature (JPG, up to 20 KB).
- Enter your qualifying exam details, confirm the form and upload the required documents as PDFs.
- Pay the registration fee online by debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI.

The fee is not refunded in any case, and a form without fee payment is rejected. The 2027 fee will be confirmed in the new prospectus.
Who can apply for Haryana LEET 2027?
You can apply if you have passed one of these qualifying exams, as set in the 2026-27 prospectus (subject to AICTE and state rules):
- A three-year or two-year (lateral entry) diploma in any branch of engineering and technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
- A B.Sc degree from a UGC-recognised university with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories), plus 10+2 with Mathematics.
- B.Voc or a three-year D.Voc in the same or an allied sector, or an NCVT-approved diploma. Universities run bridge courses in subjects such as Mathematics and Physics.
- For institutes affiliated to MDU Rohtak only: a four-year AICTE-approved B.Tech in any discipline with at least 50% marks, for an additional degree.
Kashmiri Migrants get up to 10% relaxation in the qualifying percentage. Haryana candidates must give their Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) ID, from which name, category and income details are fetched, so update your PPP data before you register.
What is the Haryana LEET 2027 exam pattern?
OCET is one online paper of 90 multiple-choice questions for 90 marks in 90 minutes, with no negative marking. The 2026 scheme is below; the 2027 scheme will be confirmed in the new prospectus.

- Each question has four options with one correct answer, and the paper is in English only.
- The test runs in three shifts. Marks are not normalised across shifts.
- In 2026 HSTES listed 16 tentative centres across Haryana, including Ambala, Kurukshetra, Murthal, Rohtak, Hisar, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Sonepat and Panchkula.

How are Haryana LEET 2027 ranks decided?
Your rank is based on your total OCET marks. The admit card (roll number and centre) is downloaded from techadmissionshry.gov.in, and you cannot sit the test without it or change your centre.
The rank is shown on techadmissionshry.gov.in; no result card is posted, and there is no re-evaluation or re-checking. If marks are tied, the higher Mathematics score ranks higher, then Physics, then the engineering subjects total, then the older candidate.
How does Haryana LEET 2027 counselling work?
Seats are allotted through two online off-campus counselling rounds on techadmissionshry.gov.in, by OCET rank. You log in with your unique application number and password, fill and lock choices, and report to the allotted institute after each round.
- The two rounds cover all seats in government university departments and government institutes, and 75% of seats in self-financing institutes.
- Private unaided institutes fill the other 25% of their seats at their own level.
- TFW, Kashmiri Migrant and EWS seats are supernumerary and are filled separately on OCET rank.
- After Round 2, vacant seats are filled at institute level, first by OCET rank and then by qualifying exam marks.
In 2026, Round 1 seats were allotted on 13 July and Round 2 on 20 July 2026, and the last date of admission was extended to 14 September 2026.
