How to Check the IIT JAM 2027 Answer Key
- Log in to JOAPS with your Enrollment ID or email ID, password and captcha once the responses are released.
- Open your recorded responses for each paper you took.
- Download the master question paper and answer key for your paper from the JAM 2027 website when they are published.
- Match each response with the key. The order of questions on your screen may differ from the master paper, so match by question, not by number.
In 2026, responses were shown on JOAPS on 18 February, the challenge window ran from 24 to 27 February, and final keys were published with the result.
How do you challenge the IIT JAM answer key?
Challenges are made online on JOAPS during the window announced by the JAM office; JOAPS has a separate option to contest the answer key. In 2026 the window opened on 24 February and closed at 11:59 PM on 27 February. The JAM 2027 window and any fee will be announced on the official notifications page.
After the review, questions found faulty may be marked “MTA” (Marks to All), which means every candidate gets the marks for that question as per the final key.
How do you calculate your IIT JAM 2027 score?
Add marks for correct answers and subtract the penalty for wrong Section A answers. The maximum is 100.
