JAM Cut Off 2022 – Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee has released cut off for Joint Admission Test (JAM) after the declaration of the results. The institute releases three cut-off lists which are first, second and third cut off online on the official site jam.iitr.ac.in. The exam is conducted for the students to get admission in the M.Sc. (two years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual degree and other post-bachelor degree courses. Students can get admission to IIT and IISc through this exam. How is JAM Cut Off decided?
On the basis of performance in JAM 2022, for each test paper, separate merit lists is prepared for General (GEN), OBC Non-Creamy Layer (OBC-NCL), SC, ST, and Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates. No separate merit list is prepared for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
The cutoff ranks are decided based on the number of seats available in each category (OBC-NCL, EWS, SC, ST, and PwD) in a given subject.
What after JAM cut off is declared?
After the formation of results students have to fill an application form. The application form should be applied online using an admission form present on JAM Online Application Process System (JOAP) website. After filling the details in application form a fee of Rs. 600 should be paid. To fill the application form the details given below should be filled.

On the basis of preference chosen in the application form and according to the rank in merit list, first round cut off gets released. Students can pay fee for advance booking of seat after the declaration of first round cut off. If the seats remain vacant, second cut off list will be released. If seats remain vacant in the second admission process then third cut off will be released.
Fee to book seat after first cut off – Rs. 10000 for general/OBC/NCL/EWS and Rs. 5000 for SC/ST/PWD

Joint Admission Test (JAM) is conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. The exam is an online computer based test. The exam is for the students who wants to get admission in M.Sc. (two years), Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. dual degree and other post-bachelor degree courses. The students have to fill an application form online only to apply for the exam from the official site jam.iitr.ac.in. Students who have bachelor degree are eligible for the exam.
