Official JEE Advanced practice material comes in two forms: computer-based practice tests for Paper 1 and Paper 2 on jeeadv.ac.in, and the real past papers with answer keys. The IITs do not post separate sample papers. This page links both, with subject-wise pages for Maths, Physics and Chemistry. JEE Advanced 2027 is expected in May 2027.

Official JEE Advanced Practice Tests
The organising IIT posts free computer-based practice tests under Resources on the official website, and the brochure advises every candidate to take them to get used to the CBT screen. The tests live now are the JEE (Advanced) 2026 tests from IIT Roorkee, one for each paper, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in each.

The 2027 practice tests are expected on the Resources page of jeeadv.ac.in once the 2027 organising IIT takes over the website, usually around registration in April.
JEE Advanced Previous Year Papers (2015 to 2026)
Past papers are the closest thing to an official sample paper, because they are the real exams set by the IITs. Each year page has Paper 1 and Paper 2 as free PDFs.

What is the JEE Advanced 2027 exam pattern?
JEE Advanced has two compulsory 3-hour papers on one day, and you must take both to be ranked. The 2027 brochure is not out, so the table shows the latest (2026) pattern.

The question types change from year to year. In 2026 Paper 2 had four sections per subject worth 12, 20, 20 and 8 marks, while in 2025 Paper 2 had three sections worth 12, 16 and 32 marks. Practise several years so a new format does not surprise you.
How should you use JEE Advanced practice papers?
- Take the official Paper 1 practice test once to learn the CBT screen, question palette and answer entry.
- Solve one full year (Paper 1 and Paper 2) on the same day, with 3 hours for each paper, as in the real exam.
- Mark it with the scheme printed in that paper’s instructions, including negative marks.
- List your mistakes by chapter and revise those chapters before the next year.
- Start with 2024 to 2026, which follow the current pattern most closely, then go back to older years.
- Use the subject pages to target a weak subject with its section from each paper.
