How to Check the JEE Advanced 2027 Result
- Go to jeeadv.ac.in when the result is declared and open the result link.
- Log in to the candidate portal with your JEE Advanced 2027 login details.
- See your subject marks, aggregate and your rank in each list you qualify for.
- Save or print the page for JoSAA counselling and AAT registration.
A text message is also sent to your registered mobile number when results are out. Individual rank cards are not sent.
What does the JEE Advanced 2027 result show?
- Your name and JEE Advanced roll number
- Marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, each the total of Paper 1 and Paper 2
- Aggregate marks
- Common Rank List (CRL) rank, if you qualify
- Category and PwD ranks, if you qualify in those lists
- Preparatory course rank, for eligible SC, ST and PwD candidates
How are JEE Advanced ranks decided?
Ranks are based on aggregate marks, and only candidates who take both papers and clear the minimum marks in each subject and in aggregate are ranked.
- Ties are broken first by higher positive marks.
- If still tied, higher Mathematics marks get the higher rank, then higher Physics marks.
- Candidates still tied get the same rank.
- There is no waiting list. The minimum marks for each list are on the JEE Advanced cut off page.
What happens after the JEE Advanced 2027 result?
IIT seats are allotted through JoSAA counselling on josaa.nic.in, which is expected to start in June 2027, right after the result.
- Register on JoSAA and fill your choices of IITs and programmes; JoSAA also handles NIT, IIIT and other institute seats on JEE Main ranks.
- Seats are allotted in rounds by category-wise rank. In 2026 JoSAA began on 2 June and its fifth round of allotment came on 16 July 2026.
- For an IIT seat you need 75% in Class 12 (65% for SC, ST and PwD) or a place in the top 20 percentile of your board.
- For B.Arch, register for the AAT within two days of the result; in 2026 the AAT was on 4 June and its result on 7 June.
- SC, ST and PwD candidates on the preparatory course list may be offered a one-year preparatory course at an IIT.
