IIT JEE Advanced 2018 Result – JEE Advanced Result 2018 will be released in the month of June 2018. Since so many students give this entrance exam, it will take time to announce the result. Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) 2018 will lead to admission in IITs and some institutes that accept JEE Adv score. The result will be published online only on the official website of JEE Advanced. Last year more than 170,000 students appeared for the entrance examination. The month of May and June is month of exams and result. Just when students take a sigh of relief from their class 12th boards exams result, JEE Advanced Result will be out. Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Advanced examination.

Step 2: Click the link Result of JEE (Adv) 2018.

Step 3: Enter your JEE Advanced Application Number and Date of Birth in the specified fields.

Step 4: Click on “Submit” button.

Admission Criteria

Candidates qualified for JEE Advanced will be eligible for admission into academic programs in IITs. To secure your admission, you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Passed in class 12th (or its equivalent examination) with at least 75% marks. For SC/ST/PwD candidates aggregate marks should be at least 65%.
  2. Must be within category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective class 12th Board examination (or its equivalent examination)

Candidates who will fulfill these eligibility requirements have to participate in joint seat allocation process (JoSA) by filling in their choices of programs. JoSAA will conduct seven rounds of seat allotment to fill the seats in IIT.

About JEE Advanced 2018

Joint Engineering Entrance Examination Advanced is conducted for admission in various programs like Engineering, Sciences, Pharmaceutics and Architecture in various IITs:

  • Bachelors (4 year)- B.Tech, B.S., B.Pharma
  • Bachelors  (5 year)- B.Arch
  • Dual Degree (5 year)- B.Tech- M.Tech, B.S. – M.S.
  • Integrated Masters (5 year)- M.Tech, M.Sc., M.Pharm Dual Degree

JEE Advanced will consist of two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both of them are compulsory and are of duration of 3 hours each. The question paper contains objective questions on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Question paper will be available in two language: English and Hindi. You can choose the medium of question paper at the time of registration of JEE Advanced 2018.
