What does the JKBOPEE 10th Based Paramedical 2027 syllabus include?
The test is based on the Class 10 courses of study, with 40 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The brochure gives a question count for every unit, but says this split is only illustrative and the paper may not follow it exactly.

How are marks given in the JKBOPEE 10th Based Paramedical exam?
Each of the 120 questions carries 1 mark, and 0.25 mark is cut for every wrong answer. A question with more than one circle darkened counts as wrong, and a faint or half-filled circle gets no marks.
If two candidates score the same, the one with more marks in Biology ranks higher, then Chemistry, then Physics, and then the older candidate. Score bands from the 2026 merit list are on the JKBOPEE 10th Based Paramedical result page.

The syllabus is printed in the e-Information Brochure on jkbopee.gov.in (pages 27 to 30 of the 2026 brochure). The 2027 brochure is expected with the notification in March 2027.

How to Prepare for the JKBOPEE 10th Based Paramedical 2027 Syllabus
- Study the NCERT Class 10 Science textbook first. The 13 units follow its chapters closely.
- Practise numericals on mirrors, lenses and electricity, which the syllabus names directly.
- Biology decides ties, so give it full attention.
- Practise timed sets of 120 questions in 2 hours, about one minute a question.
- Skip questions you are unsure of, since every wrong answer costs 0.25 mark.
