JNUEE 2019 – Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE 2019) will be conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) from 27-30 Dec 2018 as computer based test with multiple choice questions. JNU Admission 2019 to various UG and PG programs are offered on the basis of JNU entrance exam. JNUEE 2019

To appear for the test, the aspirants need to fill up the JNUEE 2019 Application Form through online. The application form for the JNU entrance exam through online mode only at admissions.jnu.ac.in. The candidates are shortlisted for JNU Admission 2019 on the basis of their performance in the test. The eligible candidates will then be called for viva-voce.

Exam Pattern for JNUEE 2019

For the preparation of the exam, the candidate should go through the exam pattern first. The mode of the entrance examination will be offline. In JNUEE 2019 entrance exam Objective types Questions will be asked. The types of question will vary according to the chosen programmes. From the syllabus section candidates can easily check what kind of question is to be asked in different programmes as chosen for JNUEE 2019.

Changes in JNUEE 2019 exam pattern

  1. Mode: JNU shall now hold entrance exam in online computer based test mode. Earlier exam was offline pen and paper based.
  2. Objective type: The varsity took the decision of having only multiple choice questions post an Academic Council meeting taken in 2018.

Preparation Tips for JNUEE 2019

Before giving the examination candidate need to do the planning for preparation of the examination. JNUEE examination consists of different sections like Quantitative Ability, English Language & Logical Reasoning, Decision Making, GK, Essay etc according to these sections candidate should prepare for the JNUEE 2019 examination.

How To Prepare for JNUEE 2019 examination?

  • Time Table- Before the exam, the candidate should make timetable this will help the candidate to make the estimate that which particular subject will take more or less time and from the timetable candidate can occupy the time in an efficient manner.
  • Notes Making- For studying candidate need the study material but in the study material, every topic is given in vast so candidate should make notes for the particular subjects this will help the candidates for the preparation of the exam.
  • Mock Test: After the preparation of different section candidate should give the mock test this will help you out for checking your performance and building up your confidence. By giving the mock test candidate can judge itself that it which question or in which subject he/she should need to prepare more. Candidate should give the mock tests at a regular interval this will help the candidate to know that where he/she is lacking.

JNUEE 2019 Application Form

The candidates will have to register before the lapse of the deadline. The application forms will only be released online at admissions.jnu.ac.in. The first step for filling the form is registration. To do so, candidates will have to submit their name, e-mail id, phone number, and few other details. Once, the registration is done successfully, a candidate’s login will be created. After the successful registration process, the application will be filled in with all the important information that is.

  • Uploading of image and signature: The images should be scanned and in JPG format for both
  • Image resolution for the photograph should be 150px and height  200px with 20-50KB file size
  • Image resolution for the photograph should be 140px and height 60px with 10-20 KB file size.

Note: At the end of the application process candidates are required to pay an application fee that will be updated after the process of application starts.

Without remitting the fee amount, the form will not be accepted. The actual amount of application fee will be disclosed via the information brochure. However, as per the previous year’s trends, the expected amount of application fee is as follows:

Mode of Payment:

  • Offline Mode: Candidate who will use offline mode can do the payment by using Challan.
  • Online Mode: Candidate who will use online mode can do the payment by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

JNUEE 2019 Admit Card

Admit card will only be generated for those candidates who fill in the application form properly. with all required information and fee payment. The admit card will be available online that is to be downloaded by the candidates. The link to download the admit card will be provided on the website www.jnu.ac.in for candidates applying to JNUEE 2019. Admit card is a must to be taken along by the candidates on the examination date. Any candidate failing to bring the admit card will not be allowed to take the examination.

JNUEE 2019 Test Centers

JNUEE 2019 Result

JNU will announce the result for JNUEE 2019 online at its website. The University will publish separate result for each course. After the declaration of the JNU entrance exam 2019 Result, the candidates are called for the next round of examination that is viva-voce. The candidates will be notified about the result through Email or SMS.

Merit List for JNUEE 2019

The Course wise merit list will be prepared. In the merit list, the candidate’s name, rank, roll number will be mentioned. Merit list will be prepared for the qualified candidates only. There will be two merit lists: one will be for the candidate who has appeared for the viva-voice and one will be for those courses for which the viva voice will be not prescribed.  As per the last year details, merit list will be released in the month of March and April 2019.

JNU Admission 2019 Counselling

The candidates who will get selected for the counselling round will be informed by sending the e-mail or SMS at their registered mail ID and Mobile Number. Candidate should bring their 10th marksheet, 12th marksheet, Graduation level degree ( For the candidate applying for PG courses), Transfer Certificate, Admit Card etc on the day of counselling for the verification process.
