Nagaland B.Ed CET 2027, officially CET B.Ed. (Nagaland), is the entrance test for the two-year B.Ed. course in government and private teacher-education colleges of Nagaland. Nagaland University’s Department of Teacher Education conducts it. Going by the 2026 cycle, forms are expected in April to May 2027 and the test in July 2027.

Nagaland University has not announced the 2027 schedule yet, so the table shows expected months. In 2026 the notification came on 24 April and the test was held on 14 July 2026, so the 2027 test is expected in July 2027.

How to Apply for Nagaland B.Ed CET 2027
You apply online only, on the Nagaland University admission portal, after paying the fee into the university’s bank account. In 2026 forms were accepted from 27 April to 29 May 2026, after a short extension.
Apply Online for Nagaland B.Ed CET 2027
Applications for Nagaland B.Ed CET 2027 are expected in April 2027.
- Open admission.nagalanduniversity.ac.in and register with your email ID and mobile number.
- Log in and open the B.Ed. (Nagaland) application form under Application Forms.
- Fill in your personal and academic details and choose your pedagogy subject from the subjects you studied in graduation.
- Deposit the application fee in Nagaland University’s Kohima Campus account at Central Bank of India, online or at the bank. The account details are in the information brochure.
- Upload the fee deposit receipt with the form, along with the other documents asked for, and submit.
- Keep the original fee receipt safe. You must show it at admission, or no seat will be allotted.

Who can apply for Nagaland B.Ed CET 2027?
You need a graduate or postgraduate degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC, ST, PwD and other reserved categories under Nagaland rules). These are the rules in the latest (2026) brochure:
- Indian citizen who meets the local or non-local rules of the Government of Nagaland.
- Graduation or post-graduation in Science, Arts, Humanities or Commerce with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- B.E. or B.Tech. with 55% marks, with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry studied, for Mathematics or Science pedagogy only.
- If you have less than 50% in graduation, you are still eligible with 50% in a post-graduate degree recognised by UGC.
- Final-semester students can apply, but must show the passed marksheet with the required percentage at counselling.
- Marks are not rounded off: 49.5% does not count as 50%.
Your pedagogy subject must match your graduation subjects. Choosing the wrong pedagogy gets the form rejected.
- Mathematics: B.A. or B.Sc. with Mathematics, B.C.A. with Mathematics, or B.Tech. with Mathematics and Physics.
- Science: B.Sc. or B.Sc. (Home Science) with Botany and Zoology or allied life sciences, B.C.A. with sciences, or Physical Sciences (Physics and Chemistry).
- Social Science: B.A. (General, History, Political Science, Economics, Geography or any subject other than English), B.Com., B.B.M. or B.B.A.
- English: B.A. in English, Special English or Alternative English, or M.A. English.
What is the Nagaland B.Ed CET 2027 exam pattern?
The test has 100 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each, to be answered in two hours. Part A is common to all; Part B covers the pedagogy subject you chose. The paper is in English only.

By pedagogy, the 2026 seats were 108 in Mathematics, 126 in Science, 182 in Social Science and 169 in English. 3% of seats in each college are reserved for PwD candidates; other reservation follows Government of Nagaland rules.
