NATA 2020 Application Form – The Council of Architecture (CoA) releases the NATA Application Form 2020 online at nata.in. The expected release date of the NATA 2020 Application Form is 4th week of January 2020 for both April and Jul session. CoA conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) every year who want to apply for B.Arch at various universities/ colleges/ institutions in India. NATA 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for NATA 2020, candidates must check the eligibility Criteria. You can check it out below:
- Candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also at least 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination.
- Candidates must have passed 10+3 diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates may note that no direct lateral admission is allowed at any other year/stage of B.Arch. course based on any qualification.
NATA 2020 Application Fee

How to Fill NATA 2020 Application Form?
Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for NATA 2020 Application Form:
Step 1: Click on the direct link which is going to be provided on this page as soon as the NATA 2020 Registration starts.
Step 2: Now fill all you Personal details, choice of examination centre, choice of first test and second test, details of education and communicating address and click on the submit button.
Step 3: After you submit the application form, your 8 digit Application Number and a link to set your password will be intimated via email on your registered id.
Step 4: Keep safe the application number and password as it will be needed for future logins on the official website.
Step 5: Now upload the required documents on your Application form.
Step 6: After uploading the documents, pay the application fee online.
Step 7: After submitting the fee, you can download and print a copy of the confirmation page.
Note: Candidates don’t have to send the application form, it is only submitted via online mode.
NATA 2020 Application Form Correction
The council provides an opportunity to all the candidates to correct any wrong information in their forms online. The duration of the form correction window is of a short period of time. Candidates can edit the incorrect information before the window closes. After the form correction process closes. Candidates cannot make any corrections in their Application forms. So, make sure you don’t enter any wrong information in the Application form so that to avoid correcting it later.
NATA 2020 Admit Card
Since NATA was conducted twice in the previous year, COA released the NATA Admit Card 2020 separately for each Exam on the official website. Candidates have to login with their Application Number and Password to download the NATA 2020 Admit Card. The Admit Card should be kept safely. The exam centre won’t allow the candidate to enter if his/ her admit card is found distorted. Before you download your Admit card, you must check all the details on it carefully. The following details are mentioned in the NATA 2020 Admit Card:

- Date of Birth of the candidate
- PwD Status
- Mother’s Name

About NATA 2020
National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), is conducted by the Council of Architecture since the year 2006. It is a National Level Entrance Exam conducted at various test centres all over India. The exam is mandatory for all the eligible candidates who want to get admission into B.Arch programme at all recognized Institutions of India. The mode of the exam is both Online and Offline. The exam consists of two parts – Part A and Part B. Part A has 120 MCQs which has to be answered in the span of 1 hour. Part B has 2 practical questions related to drawing which has to be drawn in the span of 2 hours.
The candidates who qualified the exam can appear for the admission into B.Arch as per their preferred institutions. CoA has decided to conduct the exam twice in a year as per the last year’s exam session. All the information related to the exam releases on the official website. Candidates can apply for NATA 2020 via Online mode only as per the schedule.
About Council of Architecture (CoA)
The Council of Architecture (CoA) was constituted by Govt. of India under the Architects Act 1972. The responsibility of the Council of Architecture is to maintain a register of all the architects on a national basis. Apart from that, CoA regulates the Architecture education and practice of Architects in India. It also conducts the National Aptitude Test in Architecture at a National level every year. Candidates have to pass this exam in order to get admission into any of the recognized institute/ college/ university of India.

Ans : The eligibility criteria for NATA examination is that the candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in SSC/10+2 or equivalent examination and the candidates who have passed 10+3 diploma with 50% marks in aggregate in any stream from Central/State Government are also eligible to apply for NATA.
