KLEEE 2027 (KL Engineering Entrance Examination) is the entrance test of Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KL Deemed to be University) for B.Tech admission in the 2027-28 session. It runs in phases: Phase I is on 3 to 7 December 2026, and online applications for it close on 2 December 2026. Phases II and III are not yet announced.

How to Apply for KLEEE 2027
You apply for KLEEE 2027 online on KL’s admission portal, which uses one form for its UG and PG programmes at the Vijayawada and Hyderabad campuses. The Phase I last date is 2 December 2026.
Apply Online for KLEEE 2027
Applications for KLEEE 2027 open on By 2 December 2026.
- Open the KL application portal and register with your name, email ID and mobile number.
- Verify your mobile number and email ID.
- Fill in the online application form and choose B.Tech. The programme preference you give is for statistics only; the final programme is decided at counselling.
- Pay the Rs 1,000 application fee and save a copy of the submitted form.
- You can edit the form later, except your email ID and mobile number.

Use a working email ID, because KL sends all later messages to it. KL’s FAQ says the fee can be paid online or offline.
Who can apply for KLEEE 2027?
You can apply if you have passed or are appearing in 10+2 or an equivalent exam with the subjects and marks below. These are the conditions on KL’s admissions page.
- B.Tech: 10+2 with 60% or more in aggregate and 60% or more in group subjects. PCM students can take any B.Tech programme, including Biotechnology.
- PCB students are eligible only for B.Tech (Biotechnology) among the B.Tech programmes.
- B.Arch: 10+2 with above 60% marks, and you must qualify in both KLEEE and NATA.
- B.Pharm: 10+2 with 60% in aggregate and 60% in PCM or PCB, and you must qualify in KLEEE.
- NRI, PIO and OCI candidates can also apply.
What is the KLEEE 2027 exam pattern?
KLEEE 2027 has 75 multiple-choice questions in 180 minutes, 25 each from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. KL describes the difficulty as JEE level.

How does KL admit students through KLEEE 2027?
Admission is by your KLEEE rank, followed by counselling at KL. KL’s admissions page also mentions a personal interview round after the entrance test.
- Counselling is held in slots by rank band. In 2026, B.Tech counselling ran from 26 to 30 April 2026.
- KL also admits to B.Tech on JEE Main, JEE Advanced, state entrance exams such as EAMCET, and Uni-GAUGE scores, so KLEEE is not the only route.
- KL links its fee scholarships to KLEEE rank bands, which it publishes in its counselling booklet.
