NEE 2020 Application Form – North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology conducts NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE). How to fill NEE 2020 Application form
Candidates can check below the steps to fill the application form online.
Step 1. Visit the official website and click on “Online Application for NEE 2020” button given on the home page of the NEE Application Portal.
Step 2. Candidates have to register themselves first by providing the basic details.
Step 3. Candidates need their Email id and password to log into their account and fill the application form.
Step 4. Now the candidates have to choose a programme and provide all the personal, educational details and address for communication.
Step 5. Candidates also have to upload scanned signature and photograph in the dimensions specified by the institution.
Step 6. Choose your preferred exam centre and then submit the application fees.
Step 7. Now the candidate can take a printout of the application form to submit it at the time of counselling.

NEE 2020 Eligibility

Eligibility for NEE I
Age: Maximum Age limit as on 31st July 2020 is 19 years for the students of the general category(GE) (born on or after 1st August 2001), 22 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August, 1998) and 24 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 1 st August, 1996).
Academic Qualification: Applicants must have passed Class X / Matriculation / Secondary examination or an equivalent examination with Science and Mathematics. They should have passed in all the subjects including Science and Mathematics separately.
Eligibility for NEE-II
Age: Maximum Age limit as on 31st July 2020 is 23 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after 1st August 1997), 26 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August, 1993) and 28 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 1st August, 1992).
Academic Qualifications for different schemes/modes of NEE:
- NEE-II (PCM): Applicants must have passed in 10+2(PCM)/ Higher Secondary (PCM) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- NEE-II (Vocational): Applicants must have passed10+2(Vocational) / ITI / NERIST Certificate in any one of the branches/trades, viz., [Agricultural Engineering] Farm Equipment (FE) / Food Processing (FP); [Civil Engineering] Construction Technology i.e. Draftsmanship / Surveyor (CT); [Electronics and Communications Engineering] Electronics Technology or Electronics Maintenance (ET/EM); [Electrical Engineering] Electrical Technology or Electrical Maintenance (ET/EM); [Mechanical Engineering] Mechanical Craftsmanship (MC) / Automobile Technology (AT) and Refrigeration & Air

Eligibility for NEE III
Age: Maximum Age limit as on 31st July 2020 is 40 years for the students of the general category (GE) (born on or after 1st August 1980), 43 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August, 1975) and 45 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 1st August, 1975).
Academic Qualifications for NEE-III : Applicants must have passed the 3-year Diploma course from any Government recognized Polytechnic / institution in the respective or allied disciplinewith a minimum of 60% marks considering aggregate marks of all the three years’ together/CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or NERIST Diploma Module with a minimum of CGPA 6.0.
NEE 2020 Admit Card
Candidates need their user ID and password to download their NEE 2020 Admit card. A candidate is issued the admit cards in online mode, only and on its official website, nerist.ac.in. Before downloading NEE 2020 Admit Card, a candidate needs to check the details printed on it. Such details include – candidate’s name, application number, course opted for, test centre code, test date, and slot, along with some general instructions
The institute was established in 1983 by the government of India. Its foundation was laid by former president of India Late GyaniZail Singh on 4th March. The Institute is located in a beautiful valley at the foot-hills of the Eastern Himalayas, and is situated at Nirjuli (Itanagar) in Papum Pare district of Arunachal Pradesh. There are 12 departments including a Center for Management Studies. The Institute offers bachelor’s degree programmes in 6(six) engineering disciplines and one in Forestry.
