NERIST NEE 2027 (NERIST Entrance Examination) is the admission test of the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Nirjuli, Arunachal Pradesh, for its certificate, B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Sc Forestry and BBA courses. Dates are not announced yet. Based on 2026, the form is expected from January to March 2027 and the exam in late April 2027.

How to Apply for NERIST NEE 2027
You apply online only, on neeonline.ac.in (also linked from nerist.ac.in), after the NEE 2027 admission notification is out. NERIST publishes it in January in national and North East newspapers. In 2026 the form was open from 9 January to 31 March 2026.
Apply Online for NERIST NEE 2027
Applications for NERIST NEE 2027 are expected in January 2027.
- Keep ready an email ID, a mobile number, a scanned colour photograph and a scanned signature in JPG format, each under 100 KB.
- Register on neeonline.ac.in and activate your account with the code sent to your email or mobile.
- Choose your exam and programme (NEE-I, a NEE-II paper or NEE-III) and confirm that you meet the eligibility rules.
- Fill in your personal details and pick the correct reservation code for your state and category.
- Upload your photograph and signature, then add your academic details.
- Choose two exam centre preferences, review the form and confirm it. No edits are allowed after you confirm.
- Pay the fee online by net banking, credit or debit card or UPI, and print the submitted form. You must show it at counselling.

The fee is not refundable or transferable. NERIST rejects later requests to change your category or exam centre, so check the form before you confirm it. In 2026 a short correction window was opened from 1 to 5 April 2026.
Who can apply for NERIST NEE 2027?
You can apply if you have passed, or are appearing in, the qualifying exam for your course and you are within the upper age limit. The table shows the 2026 rules and seats. NERIST will confirm the 2027 rules in the new brochure.

Age is counted on 31 July of the admission year. NEE-III applicants with an NCC B or C certificate get a 5% relaxation in diploma marks. If you are still appearing in the qualifying exam, you must show your pass certificate and marks at counselling, or your selection is cancelled.
What is the NERIST NEE 2027 exam pattern?
Every NEE paper is a 3-hour, 150-mark offline test of multiple choice questions answered on an OMR sheet. For each wrong answer, one quarter of that question’s marks is deducted. Unattempted questions lose nothing.
