PU CET UG 2027 is the PU-CET (U.G.) entrance test that Panjab University, Chandigarh holds for admission to its B.Pharm. and four-year B.Sc. (Hons.) courses on the campus. It has four pen and paper papers: Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Dates are not out yet; the test is expected in May 2027.

How to Apply for PU CET UG 2027
You apply for PU CET UG 2027 online at cetug.puchd.ac.in, where Panjab University publishes the prospectus and test form, expected from November 2026. The steps and fee below follow the 2026 prospectus.
Apply Online for PU CET UG 2027
Applications for PU CET UG 2027 are expected in November 2026.
- Go to cetug.puchd.ac.in and submit your basic details to generate a login ID and password (in 2026, by 22 April).
- Log in and choose your subject combination: Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB), Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), or Mathematics only.
- Pay the entrance test fee online (in 2026, by 24 April).
- Upload your photograph and signature, fill in the rest of the form and submit it (in 2026, by 27 April). Paying the fee alone does not complete the form.
- SC, ST and PwD candidates and PU employees claiming the fee concession send the form printout with documents to the Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, Panjab University, Chandigarh by the notified date.

The fee is not refunded or transferred. No corrections are allowed after you submit the form, and filling two forms for the same course cancels your candidature.
How to log in to the PU CET UG 2027 candidate portal?
You log in to the PU CET UG portal with your login ID and password to pay the test fee, upload your photograph and signature and complete the form, download your admit card, fill the online admission form after the result, and download the admission and counselling forms.
- Open the official PU CET UG login page. It still shows the 2026 cycle; 2027 login IDs are created only when the test form opens, expected in November 2026.
- Enter the login ID you generated when you submitted your basic details.
- Enter your password and click Sign In.
- Your account opens with the fee payment and form links, and later the admit card, admission form and counselling form links.
- Check every detail before you submit, as the form cannot be changed after submission.
Forgot your password? Click “Forgot your password?” on the login page. To reset it you must enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, mother’s name, Class 10 roll number and board, and application number exactly as in your form.
Who can apply for PU CET UG 2027?
You can sit the test if you have passed or are appearing in Class 12 (10+2) from CBSE or an equivalent recognised board. For admission, each course asks for at least 50% marks in 10+2 with set subjects, with a 5% concession for SC, ST, BC and PwD candidates. These are the 2026 rules:

- Candidates with a compartment in the March 10+2 exam of that year are not eligible.
- Eligibility is checked at admission. Being allowed to sit the test does not prove you are eligible.
- Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO) awardees can join B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics without the test, on extra seats.

What is the PU CET UG 2027 exam pattern?
Each PU CET UG paper has 60 multiple choice questions of 2 marks each, answered on an OMR sheet in 70 minutes. This is the 2026 pattern, which is expected to continue. See the PU CET UG 2027 syllabus for the topics.

- PwD and visually impaired candidates get 20 minutes extra for each paper.
- Test centres in 2026: Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Muktsar and Hoshiarpur.
