The PU CET UG result 2027 is expected in May or June 2027 at results.puchd.ac.in and cetug.puchd.ac.in. In 2026 it was declared on 28 May, 18 days after the test. No result card is issued. Qualified candidates must then fill the online admission form and attend physical counselling.

How to Check the PU CET UG 2027 Result
- Go to results.puchd.ac.in, which opens the Panjab University results site.
- Open Entrance Results and select CET(UG) – 2027.
- Enter the details asked, such as the roll number on your admit card.
- Check whether you are shown as Qualified for your subject combination.
- Save or print the result for the admission process.
Results are published as Qualified or Not Qualified lists for three combinations: PCB, PCM and Mathematics only. Panjab University issues no separate result card.
What are the PU CET UG qualifying marks?
You qualify PU CET UG if you score at least 15% of the total marks, or 10% if you are SC, ST, BC or PwD. Only qualified candidates can apply for admission.

How is the PU CET UG merit worked out?
For B.Pharm. and B.Sc. (Hons.) courses other than Mathematics, merit marks are 75% of your CET percentile score plus 25% of your 10+2 percentage in PCB or PCM, plus any NCC, NSS or similar weightage.
- The CET percentile is worked out separately for the PCB and PCM streams, from your rank among candidates in that stream.
- If you studied both Biology and Mathematics in 10+2, the higher of your PCB and PCM percentages is used.
- For B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, merit is your CET Mathematics marks out of 120 plus your 10+2 aggregate scaled to 40, a total out of 160.
- Merit marks are calculated to three decimal places.
What is the expected PU CET UG 2027 cut off?
Panjab University does not publish closing ranks, but its 2026 first counselling schedule called candidates by merit marks, which shows the range admitted in round one (2026, official 1st physical counselling schedule).

These are the marks called to counselling, not the last marks admitted. Later rounds for vacant seats were scheduled for 6 to 8 August, 8 September and 29 September 2026, and the last one called all eligible candidates.
What should you do after the PU CET UG result?
Log in at cetug.puchd.ac.in and fill the online admission form, where you choose your courses, before its last date. In 2026 it was open from 9 to 25 June.
- Reserved category candidates (other than General, SC and ST) send a hard copy of the form with certificates by the notified date.
- A tentative merit list is shown and objections are invited; a provisional merit list follows.
- Physical counselling is held at the Panjab University campus in rounds, as per merit marks.
- Bring the downloaded counselling form and admission form, original 10th and 10+2 marksheets, category and weightage documents and one photograph.
- Pay the admission fee online on the spot once you get a seat.
In 2026 the tentative merit list came on 4 July, the provisional list on 11 July and the first counselling ran from 15 to 18 July. Admissions for 2027 are expected from July 2027.
