SCERT Odisha Admission 2022 Result
Result for SCERT Odisha admission is released online at scert.samsodisha.gov.in. It is released in the form of a merit list. Merit list shall be prepared according to the marks secured in the entrance test. Then, the intimation letter shall be sent to the candidates for the placement.
Tie-Breaking Criteria
If the candidates secure the same marks in the entrance test, then, the following tie-breaking criteria is applied.
- Firstly, Graduation marks will be considered and the candidates who has higher percentage of marks in Graduation will be given preference.
- Then, if the tie still persists, then age of the candidates shall be considered. The candidate who is older in age is given preference.

Only the eligible candidates get admission via SCERT odisha 2022 admission. The previous year criteria of eligibility is as follows:

Age Limit: The age as on June 30, 2022 must be:

Education Qualification: It must be as follows:
- The candidates must have done Graduation / Post – Graduation with minimum 50% marks.
- The candidates must have done Graduation with at least 2 school subjects of minimum 200 marks each.
OR
- The candidates who have done B.E. / B.Tech must have minimum 55% aggregate marks (50% for SC / ST / SEBC / PH).
- All students of the B.Tech category shall be considered under PCM category.
- The candidates who have done B.Tech Lateral Entry are not eligible to apply.
The Science Graduates must have passed Graduation with at least 2 subjects (with not less than 200 marks each) they have studied at school level out of Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Geography.
Who else can apply for B.Ed?
- Un-trained in-service teachers who were appointed prior to the implementation of NCTE revised regulation, 2014.
- Untrained im-service teachers except PET, Classical teacher and Hindi teacher appointed on a regular basis having Graduate qualification against the sanctioned yardstick TGT posts in Govt. / Govt. Aided / Recognized High Schools and above are eligible to apply.
- Also, the un-trained qualified teachers who have been appointed by the competent authority after checking the percentage of marks in their last qualifying examinations (50% for GEn and 45% for reserved) are eligible to apply for the professional training.
Eligibility for Elementary School Teachers
- Untrained Graduate Junior Teacher Contractual working in Govt. upper primary schools / up-graded high schools are also eligible to apply as in-service candidates. The candidates must have a minimum percentage of Secondary school teachers.
- Graduate untrained teachers, if any, in aided upper primary schools below 48 years of age appointed by the Managing Committed against Headmaster post can also apply.
SCERT Odisha D.El.Ed Admission Eligibility Criteria

Such candidates should produce a certificate to the effect from the Headmaster of the concerned schools he / she has passed HSC examination in Odia medium.

- The applicants must have passed B.A. / B.Com / B.Sc examination conducted by recognized universities having Hindi as an elective / pass / Honours subject with minimum 50% aggregate marks or master’s degree in Hindi. (45% for reserved categories).
- The candidates who have appeared in their final year Graduation examination (Arts, Commerce, Science) can also apply.
- Also, the candidates must have offered Odia as MIL up to HSC level or 10+2 or have passed Odia in single-subject examination conducted by BSE, Odisha of HSC standard or should have passed HSC examination of BSE, Odisha in Odia medium with MIL other than Odia. The candidates who have passed HSC examination without Odia as MIL should produce a certificate to the effect from the Headmaster of the concerned schools he / she has passed HSC examination in Odia medium.
OR
- The candidates who have done BA/ B.Com / B.Sc without Hindi as a core subject with minimum 50% marks from Rashtra Bhasa Ratna from Rastra Bhasa Prachar Samiti, Wardha / Shastri from Odisha Rastra Bhasa Parishad, Puri / Snatak are also eligible to apply.

- The candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with minimum 45% marks can also apply.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for the candidates
Educational Qualification: The candidates who want to take admission in M.Ed must have at least secured minimum 50% marks in the following programmes.
- B.Ed
- BA B.Ed / B.Sc B.Ed
- Arts / Science Graduate with D.El.Ed degree (with minimum 50% marks for General and 45% for reserved categories)
- The candidates who have their final year examination of any one of the above given degree can also apply.

The test for B.Ed comprises two papers in total. Both the papers are compulsory to be attempted. Paper 1 is compulsory for all the candidates belonging to Arts and Science Group.

On the day of examination, all the test-takers need to follow some instructions. Check the points given below for the same.
